    Dan Straily: 9-3 2.75 ERA
    Edwin Jackson: 6-7 3.42 ERA
    Jake Arrieta: 7-5 3.62 ERA
    Corey Kluber: 3-7 5.01 ERA
While Straily is doing well and Jackson/Arrieta are doing pretty well this isn't something I really want to go forward with long term and don't have a whole lot of pitching coming up in the minors either.

In the offseason I picked up Curtis Granderson and am wondering if I could get some pitching to slide into that rotation in the future after giving up some of these guys:
    Granderson: .237/.311/.441 18 HR 50 RBI
    Emilio Bonifacio: .228/.279/.317 5 HR 39 RBI 29 SBs (4th in NL)
    Nate Schierholtz: .251/.321/.408 10 HR 46 RBI
    Gerald Laird: .327/.389/.430 3 HR 31 RBI
Jose Veras: 2.97 ERA 29 SVs

I would also be open to giving up any of my starting 5

    Teams in contention:
    Cardinals, Brewers, Reds
    Padres, D-Backs, Dodgers
    Braves, Nationals
    A's, Mariners, Angels
    Tigers, Indians
    Rays, Blue Jays, Orioles
It would really help get you responses if you could provide a list of SPs that interest you (with stats and team records).

From NY Mets: 20 games out of it in full tear down mode imo

Looking for fairness and little bit of realism , their stats are all pretty much average nothing all-star or that bad.
Remove Smoak? Call it good? I think that's mostly fair. Murphy is a bit underrated so it would probably take more than people think (Paxton + Franklin) to get him...although you could probably send your choice of Hultzen or Paxton as well as your choice of Franklin or Miller since you are overpaying just a bit here.

Who im looking at is Chris Sale. I know he's listed as a Cmon son in the chart but the ChiSox are on pace for their second straight worst record and Sale has had a dismal year (2014 4-10 with 5.81 ERA, missed just under two months to injury) and an average year (2015 4-7 with a 4.07 ERA). Ive always enjoyed using him in the game (even throwing a no-no once) this is what I was considering:

    Cubs get:

    -Chris Sale

    Sox get:

-Jorge Soler (A pot whos done well when Ive simmed but I cant hit with him for anything)
-Christian Villanueva (B pot, very solid starting in MLB; .269 8HR 1.000 FLD%, as good as he's been, I have Bryant (current MLB LF), Baez, and Russell, ready to jump in)
-CJ Edwards (injured in ST only made 2 starts for AAA is 2-0 1.50ERA) or Pierce Johnson (1-6 4.77 ERA in MLB)
Chris Sale will never be traded from the White Sox to the Cubs. You could offer all of the Cubs prospects in the game and the Sox wouldn't do it--they'd NEVER hear the end of it in this town and a deal like this would be brutal on Sox fans. How about a different lefty ace? Hamels? Cliff Lee? Luebke? Miley? Corbin?

Someone like Barnes, Webster, or Ranaudo are probably off limits in this trade, right? I think they're all 3 A's (and Coyle and Shaw are C's) so maybe one pitcher could balance the trade?
A Red Sox fan said he's ok with Allen Webster, so how about Cashner + Venable/Amarista for Webster + Coyle + Shaw + Doubront. The Red Sox would probably be interested in Seth Smith and Cameron Maybin if you want to expand the framework to include one of them.

Only choice due to the $$$ is the Dodgers. I know not realistic (going for fairness) at all but I would like to get a deal centered around something like this:

I think you'd need to give up something more with McCann, considering there's cheaper options out there and losing Ellis doesn't make or break LA's offense.

Yeah I'm just not sure what that's ha. I might keep him and trade him in the offseason or something for a pair of B's. Just really like Urias, don't know if NY/LA matchup well.

To put things in perspective, I don't think it would be unreasonable for the Rays to ask for Urias+ for David Price. I'm not sure the Yankees have that level of star player that the Dodgers would be interested in.

Hey guys, I was wondering if this was an okay trade.

            BOS gets: Curtis Granderson
            NYM gets: Mookie Betts

BOS needed OF help, Grandy was hitting .266 with 14 HRs and 50 RBIs when I made the trade (July, before the ASB) I'm still there, but wondering if this was okay.

Thanks WTNY and CameRoN0407 with help on the Cashner to BOS trade. I'll keep these thoughts in mind when the offseason rolls around. I really like Webster + Coyle + Shaw for Cashner. I will also probably throw in a minor piece, such as Amarista, or a bullpen piece as well, and will debate a bigger trade if the offseason doesn't unfold too well.

                Betts > Granderson.

                Vasquez for Granderson?

I was thinking either Betts or Cecchini, because they could play 2B/SS and the Mets already have d'Arnaud, who has a higher POT than Vasquez.

I would switch out Villanueva with Alcantara (if you still have him), but I think that's a decent deal with Edwards instead of Johnson.

I think people are associating Sale with what he is in real life right now. He's obviously struggled in your franchise for 2 consecutive years, which should dampen his value. I'm trying to think of a real life comparison of a pitcher that had 2 dominant seasons, then 2 bad seasons with an injury, but there isn't one coming to mind.

That's still a very good haul for the White Sox.

You won't get Betts straight up and certainly not Cecchini. You could get Vazquez, JBJ, Margot, or Shaw+.

I think I'll switch Betts for Margot then. Thanks! I was too focused on getting them a potential SS of the future.

Before I finalize it though, what would I have to give in addition to shaw?

Okay, so the St Louis Cardinals REALLY need someone to play LF, they're in the thick of the NL Central race and Matt Holliday is batting .197 with only 6 HRs and I'm at about July 30th, I believe.

Also, the Rays need a CF/OF, Desmond Jennings is hitting .218 in 93 G.

Also, Mariners (MY team) need a Corner OF, no one is performing, I've put Ackley, Morrison, Saunders, Bloomquist, and Endy Chavez there and no one is staying out. If I had to pick one it would be Chavez. James jones has CF locked down though.

                            So:
                            Cardinals need a LF
                            Rays need an OF
                            M's need a LF/RF (preferably RH)

Teams that are out of it:

                            Indians
                            White Sox
