Okay, long post incoming. I'm trying to create a Jose Reyes deal going off of IRL stats.
Reyes, James Russell to CIN
Cingrani to CHC
Alcantara, Jackson, Cozart to TOR
The Cubs get an incredible young pitcher while getting out from under a bad contract and dealing from depth. The Reds create a stupid good Frazier-Reyes-Phillips-Votto infield and lineup.
Reyes to BOS
Bell, Hanson, Rijo to TOR
Swihart to PIT
Boston gets Reyes who I think they were interested in a while ago dealing from depth. Pittsburgh gets a catcher to replace Russ who's basically the younger Russ but can hit more and is cheaper.
Reyes to NYY
Sanchez, De Paula, Montgomery to CHC
Alcantara, Hanneman, Jackson to TOR
Yankees get Reyes. Duh. Cubs get a catcher and get out from under a bad contract.
Reyes to DET
Castellanos, Thompson to BOS
Betts, Swihart, Barnes/Webster to TOR
Illitch gets to contend which he obviously wants to do. Boston adds a young hitter to help their OF problem and a great pitcher.
Reyes to DET
Castellanos to LAA
Hamilton, Cowart, Yarbrough to TOR
LAA gets out from under a bad contract in exchange for a good young hitter and Illitch contends.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
