I have a ton of starting pitching, Lester, Peavy, and Buchholz are all under 2.90 ERAs, Lackey and Doubront are both right around 3.60. Webster hasn't given up a run in 21 innings in AAA, Barnes has a 1.98 in 41 innings, Britton has an ERA in the 5's but everyone else is doing great.

Cleveland just offered me Cabrera for Anthony Ranaudo straight up. He's 6-2 3.10 39K 18BB in 52.1 innings in AAA.
I did this deal in my chise as well, it was Webster and Brentz for Asdrubal, then I dealt Middlebrooks to the Marlins. Went over this trade in the early goings of this thread.

Just made the same deal lol works for me.. I put Drew on waivers to send him down to AAA, I'll play Bogaerts at third for now. I also signed Morales to play DH since Ortiz is on the DL for a month, since I started before Morales signed IRL.

I think the Mets could use him to replace Ike Davis.

Does anyone know of a way to get miguel sano? Im doing a Cubs franchise and i want to have a future infield of Khris Bryant at 3rd and Sano at first. Im willing to trade Baez.

Dealing prospects for prospects is hard. Tough to get a good value on it.

Would you be interested in packaging Rizzo to the Twins for Sano? Rizzo wouldn't have spot to play with the Cubs and he'd fit in nicely at 1B/DH with Mauer with the Twinkies

I dunno. Probably wanting to spot the next up and coming thing. I don't really care about rookie status, it's just pretty obvious that Sano >> Rizzo.

This cannot be done with any semblance of realism...if that matters.

I'd have it more like Rizzo = Sano. Sano has a higher power ceiling, but is less likely to reach it. Rizzo is also a better defender with better plate discipline.

                        Rookies are fresh and exciting.

In terms of long term career, sure, but as it stands I think Sano's market value is higher. I dunno, I feel like guys viewed as legit .265/40 bats are really heavily valued by a lot of teams even if they're equally as valuable as .285/20 or something. And there might be something to that, but eh, that's another story. TL;DR I think Sano's market value could garner more than Rizzo.

Deadline deal with Orioles in first in ALE and needing a closer:

Street for Lombardozzi and Bud Norris

Street has pitched very well after a rough first month and has his era down to 3.01 with 28 saves through end of July.

Norris is in the Os pen and has a 7.08 era, Lombardozzi has been in AAA all season, didn't check stats

You're going to want to give up prospects in this deal. My line of thinking there is that a team selling their closer at the deadline is looking ahead to next season and beyond. Norris and Lombardozzi, especially if they aren't playing well wouldn't hold any value in San Diego. It won't cost much to get him though, his spreadsheet value is two high C's. You could send them a low B + a high C if you think he's playing well enough to warrant that.

I don't have the game on, so I'm going off of prospect lists and just throwing out names here, keep that in mind. Any two of these guys should work.
