My impression of the stadiums is, meh.

Yeah, they look good but I'm not experiencing this jaw-dropping, come-to-Jesus moment like some of you guys are. Am I buying day one? Yep. Can I wait? Nope. But I just don't think it looks that much better than the PS3. Perhaps it because I am paying particular attention to the Wrigley Field shots. Notice on the doors on the outfield wall (not the ivy part), that there is still a blue "cubs.com" logo that looks completely out of place because it is just pasted over the door textures. If the stadiums were truly redone I don't see how that would get overlooked. I wish it actually looked as though it was part of the door.

But in the end, MLB 14 should be great and I'm pumped.

I do like the lighting, but I feel like they look too close to the PS3's overall model. I was hoping for a completely redone model. I can see the higher polygons and lighting, but alot of it feels the same with a moderate facelift, I'll have to play to be sure though, Never the less, very nice, just expected something different I suppose.

lol, yep you got us all figured out SMH. If you cant tell the difference between PS3 and PS4 stadiums/lighting and player models then why even upgrade???

I can tell a difference, but not that much. Again, I'm stoked. The player models and faces look a lot better. But look back at the Wrigley Field wall. Again, meh.

Posts like this are the biggest compliment to Ramone and the team. Only a truly outstanding game could draw criticism this inane.

Again, I'm not bashing anything here. Just simply stating my opinion on the video posted. It is funny, however, the difference between this forum and the Madden forums.

In this forum if one says something that it critical or points out something that isn't right they get jumped on. Over at the Madden forums it is the complete opposite. Every video, screenshot, etc. that is release is heavily criticized. I guess that's what EA get's for releasing an inferior product.

But my thought remains, if every stadium was truly and completely re-done, why would the artist doing Wrigley Field not make the doors look right? Copy and pasted most likely.

THE LIGHTING! Especially in the night games. My jaw dropped when they got to the part of Zimmerman batting in San Fran at night. Incredible... can't wait!

They definitely weren't copied and pasted, but most likely visually referenced the PS3 models. Regarding what you are talking about, I did mention this to the stadium artist, but I assume they didn't get around to it. Technically, both doors have the same ad (UA) on them in real life, so I recommended the bear cub C on both (in-game), with three '3D' creases. Then again, this may not be final artwork... we'll see. Other than that, anything else that's not right?
