I am sure there will be enough outrage about it, lets get it rolling. These are the greatest baseball games ever made in my opinion for years, SOTS was a just another addition to a already great game, the year to year saves will be another great addition. Is that next to go? Don't we enough pay money to Sony buying the system alone, they should not take away and at the same time they make us pay more.

A focused effort on bringing this to Sony's attention would be a good idea, even though it's (apparently) already on their radar it probably wouldn't hurt. My only recommendation would be to keep it on a positive tip, talk about how much SotS adds to the game, etc. Words like "outrage" usually fall on deaf ears.

Actually, I think there is a large following for the mp3 support. It's on their radar because the general opinion was sour that you couldn't put your own music on the console in general, let alone something like SOTS.

I think a lot of that initial outrage has passed so it's not as high of a priority. However, if you go to any article discussing the 1.70 update, you will find a number of comments relating to adding the mp3 support. Not sure how much of that is getting back to Sony, but it's definitely out there.

Haven't seen anything as yet. I think it's in Sony's court IMHO.

Crazy at it may sound, this issue is the major reason why i haven't bought the game yet. Hopefully, they will resolve it.

Sony literally came out and said "it's not like people are going to cancel their pre-orders over a lack of mp3 functionality" or something VERY similar to those words. People may be complaining about it, but most of those people have already given Sony their money for a PS4.

This is the #1 reason I have yet to buy a PS4 and wont until it is equal or better than the PS3 in its peripherals and other extras. Its not worth it to me to pay $400 to take a step back in technology simply for HDD space and better graphics.

The atmosphere just takes such a giant step back without this feature. What's worse is I haven't heard any of the new organ tracks they supposedly recorded for the game play at all.

I'm glad they at least have the "sounds of the show" feature in the ps4 version. That way, when/if Sony enables mp3, it will be a smooth transition.

I just hope NHL 15 does the same thing if this issue still isn't resolved.

Bought a PS4 last week and was STUNNED to see I couldn't load my own media via USB. To be honest, it wasn't something I even checked because it should be a standard feature. It would be like buying a car in 2014 and making sure it has air conditioning as a standard feature. What an absolute farce.

Have you been on OperationSports before? Specifically, the MLB The Show forums? If you have, the lack of MP3 support on the PS4 (for now) has been discussed here for many, many months.

Not a great deal to be honest. MLB The Show is an unconditional purchase for me.

Sounds of The Show doesn't make or break the game for me, but not being able to watch movies or listen to music is absolutely archaic.

Thanks for posting here guys and keeping this issue alive. I haven't heard of any update yet for mp3's nor music unlimited being allowed on the ps4 MLB the show 14 yet but we have to keep pushing Sony. The game really doesn't feel the same anymore for me.

Sounds of Show doesn't even work with the music included in the game; whatever you tie to your guy just makes it blank with no music all game.

Anyone found a way around this? I set up walkup music to at least have some real music in the game and now i got nothing for the teams ; maybe i should have tested it first/
