Just go digital if you truly can't get the game early.

(1) Doesn't require leaving your home
(2)(a) Playing at 12:01 am if update 1.70 gets released
(2)(b) Update 1.70 is not rolled out yet, you will still be playing before the store opens
(3) You know you will be playing this the rest of the year and then some, so there won't be much trade in value left

(4) it's $59.99 US. So you're saving on the sales tax.

Hmm, I'm starting to love the idea of going digital! Question, if I preorder it now, and the update comes, how do I download it early?

I figure just download the update, then download the game like you normally would a digital game. (It's said once the update hits, you'll be able to download the game early, or have the option for it).

I figured that. Plus, even if for some reason we can't pre-load it, I can still start the download at 12:00, and most likely be playing by the time I wake up! I'll still be playing earlier than my UPS delivers! lol. I've never preordered digital though, being visually impaired, can you explain where you go to download it once you are able to do so?

Are there any risks to doing it digitally? I like the security of having a disc because I know I can't be locked out of it or anything crazy. Really thinking of going digital because I know I won't trade it in and I want this as soon as possible.

Also are there any bonuses for digital?

I've personally never had a problem going digital with games.

Again, going with the firmware topic, this website http://www.explosion.com/56695/ps4-1...or-april-30th/ confirms the April 30th date of release. So once it drops, we can download it, and pre install the Show.

NO, you can download the new firmware on the 30th, and pre-install the Show, but the game won't be unlocked until May 6th. BUT once midnight May 6th hits, it's all good to go. No installing anything else.

You can pre-load it on the 30th, but can't actually play it until 12am May 6. And QuietPro, what am I looking for in ps store? You said what icon on the left?
