    Yeah I think I remember 2k7 (or one of the games around that). Along with the lighting I'm pretty sure it had very noticeable cloth physics (shown by the wind whipping uniforms around). And the framerate suffered horribly for it.

      So the follow-through looking 'off' is because the actor is not really throwing that baseball, correct? Or are they just not throwing full speed in the studio?

        You are right it was first introduced in 2k7. Thank Ben Brinkman for that.
