The same seems to be with Braun as well.

I think I've found another one. Hat hair. I just played Rockies vs. Nats and I had Brett Anderson on the mound. After receiving the ball back from the catcher he took his hat off and the front of his hair was sticking straight up. Then a couple innings later Bryce Harpers helmet came off and he had a cowlick on the right side of his head that looked as if the hat made it occur. Maybe their hair is just like that in the game, but to me it looked like it was because of the hat. Pretty neat touch if that's how it was intended.

Not sure if it was included in the PS3 version, but Masahiro Tanaka has his own commentary in the pitcher intros.

Vasgersian describes him as "the hottest free agent pitcher this offseason, Masahiro Tanaka". Not bad for a guy who wasn't included in the on-disc roster due to MLB rookie regulations.

I like the fact that the pitcher actually turn their head to check the 2nd base runner. Has this always been in the series?

Aramis Ramirez hit a single into shallow right and I threw the ball to first with no intent and my first baseman tagged him out because Ramirez was rounding first.

Im sure there are some weird injuries that will occur throughout my franchise but last night I was the Yankees playing the Jays and JA Happ took a shot from a ball hit by Brian Roberts into the chest. After the play was over, the announcers mentioned how the ball got him in the chest and is wincing in pain. An injury notification popped up telling me that JA Happ will be taken out of the game for precautionary measures. After I closed the dialog that was on the screen, they showed JA Happ walking off the field with the trainer clutching his chest.

After the game I checked the DL and saw that JA Happ was listed as day to day with some bruised ribs. Good to see that the injury fit the action on the field.

Not sure if someone has mentioned this already but being a stat nut I noticed this immediately.

In franchise mode, for the first several games the stat overlay that appears during batter walk-ups displays the previous seasons stats rather than the virtually nonexistent (very nonexistent on opening day) stats from the current season. Below it displays the current season's stats (3 for 12 etc.). I always hated when the batter would walk-up on opening day it would display goose eggs across the graphic, glad to see this.

Got the game the morning and while installing it I was able to play a game between the Yankees and braves. Game went into extras and justin upton was up in the top of the tenth. Not sure if anyone has seen this but they flash backed to the 8th were he homered to take the lead at 2-1. Thought it was a nice touch to the presentation.

Wearing the Astros 70's throwbacks and hearing the announcers comment on the "all-time fashion disaster"… or something to that effect. I got a chuckle out of that.

I mimic the lineups and roster correctly with each game in my Yankees franchise, so not only did I move A-rod, I put him on waivers. He cleared waivers as no other team picked him up. Thought that was a funny and neat touch. 👍👍😂😂

Saw this as well. Too funny. They said "even Nolan Ryan couldn't make these uniforms look good". 😂😂

At the end of the inning the camera cuts to some people dancing and the announcer says something like "and here are some young people and future leaders of the country....yikes"

The ball physics are so incredible. A line drive was hit over Machado. He jumps up to snag it and the ball hit the very top of his glove and slowed down. It took the correct path and velocity after it hit the glove. The ball landed about 10 feet from Machado.

The runner AI was also smart enough to take 2nd.

                              This game is crack!

Playing my franchise with the Padres. Tried to catch a fly ball in LF. You know how the ball marker moves, well it was moving towards the wall at the last minute so i jump for it. SMACK right into the wall. Stayed on the ground for about 3-5 seconds before he got up and go to the ball. Runner got to 3rd easy. I should have saved that vid, it was hilarious.
