Re: MLB 14: The Show - Little Things Thread
I haven't played The Show since maybe 08.
But a second ago, I was pitching with R.A. Dickey at Rogers Centre and Mark Teixera was at bat. Then I heard "Overrated!" being chanted.
I'm not sure if that was in previous versions, but it was pretty cool to hear.
Honestly wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a Yankees fan chanting that about R.A. Dickey, haha.Comment

Re: MLB 14: The Show - Little Things Thread
Was playing as the Twins on Opening Day in my franchise and the announcers made a comment that went something like, "Plouffe is acting as a placeholder at 3rd base for one of the Twins' two budding stars, with one being at 3rd base and the other in center field."
Too bad that they couldn't say Sano and Buxton, but I still thought it was pretty cool for them to mention something like that.Comment

Cardinals franchise opening day at Reds. Using OSFM rosters. I called up Oscar Taveras (which the Cards should do in reality) and he promptly hit a HR in his first MLB at bat. Cut scene to the dugout showed all of the other players basically ignoring him not acknowledging his home run. Then all at once they jumped off the bench and smothered him with hugs and high fives. It's the prank that we've all seen before but never to my knowledge, in a baseball video game. Nice touch!Comment

Re: MLB 14: The Show - Little Things Thread
Before I do anything with a franchise, RTTS, etc. I'm playing one exhibition game with each team in their respective stadium...it's my first time playing The Show so I want to see all of the stadiums first and foremost. Second game I played was as Boston last night, Grady Sizemore is known as just #38...I thought that was weird. Yeah, he's been away from the game for a couple of years rehabbing injuries, but it's not like he's an unknown or was added to the team yesterday.Comment

Re: MLB 14: The Show - Little Things Thread
I made a fielding error with Justin Upton and the ball hit his face. He came out of the game and is out a couple days with a black eye. I know pitchers can get hurt but never have I gotten hit in the face as an outfielder lol.PSN: TheSourOrange

I just posted this in the pic/video thread - but could also fit in this thread. I wonder who did this motion capture?

Re: MLB 14: The Show - Little Things Thread
Thought I might have been imagining it at first, but during Yankee away games, A-Rod is booed much heavier than the other Yankee players. Thought that was a pretty cool detail, being a Yankee fan and absolutely loathing A-RodComment
