Is Brett as a last name in the game?


It has always been a first name, but I finally got it as a last name last year because the SCEA devs rule. Just hoping it didn't get taken out and don't want to feel tortured for the next two days.

This is one reason I'm thankful that there's a separate entry for entering your name, and then another for the audio file to use for Matt Vasgersian to say it, much like with EA's NHL series.

For instance, my surname IS in the game, but it's spelled differently--two different ways, in fact, neither of which are mine. So I used one of the homophones, typed in my name as spelled on my ID cards, and I'm good to go.

The only problem (which is very minor) is that, when the game's closed-captioning is turned on, it spells the name by the audio file chosen--so if you wanted to create political satirist Stephen Colbert for whatever reason, you'd have to use the audio file for "Colbear," because not only would using the one with his spelling get it pronounced "cohl-burt," but if you use the RIGHT pronunciation, it would show up in the captions as "Colbear" instead of how you typed it.

Weird...Jonathan Schoop with the Orioles is a SCEA created player. I didn't put any audio names in for him (as there isn't a Schoop available), but Matty and the PA announcer say "Schoop" when he comes to bat...how is that??? I guess SCEA embedded is audio to a created player though there is no audio name associated with him. Very weird....

I usually go by my first and middle name a la Sean Tyler, as opposed to Sean or Tyler kind of like John Ryan Murphy for the Yankees.


Just another cool thing they might could add in the future with the ps4.
