I just signed up for this site and have been lurking this thread since 10pm CT last night.. I stayed up until 3am, until going to sleep waking up at 9 to check the download.. Obv wasn't there.. Ended up getting the refund, jogging to my gamestop and picked up the physical copy for $20 cos i had store credit.. The file took less than a minute to install on my ps4 (good internet), so i guess it all worked out.

I want to play The Show with the guy over 70. You're probably a great source of knowledge and I'd prefer talking to you to the 12 year olds that'll be dominating the mic in online games.

Im not to bummed. All these people "canceling" their pre orders just means less people to slow my speeds down.

That's more of an indictment on Sony's terrible online servers than anything else, man. No way should people downloading a game slow down your download speed. But it wouldn't surprise me at all to see it move at a crawl since this is Sony we are talking about.

You certainly are in your right to do so. Its a little bit drastic but I guess Sony didn't do themselves any favor. The least they could have done was an immediate refund, no question ask. I don't know how your financial situation is, so maybe that money is a big deal to you. Patience always rewards those who wait.

It a shame that you will take this route as I can tell by your reaction that you are probably a huge baseball fan and the only game in town is on the PS4. Its not like you have a choice.

It really isn't a question of patience at this point. I've been on the phone trying to get a refund issued for over 3 hours. I'm not upset about the delay. These things happen, I get that. I'm upset and frustrated with Sony's support, or lack thereof. I purchased a hard copy because I was told I would be issued a refund, only the call got disconnected after 1 and half hours. When I called back, disconnected again. I'm now on hold for 1 hour and 8 minutes waiting to speak to another supervisor. The 1st rep I spoke with could have updated my account reflecting our conversation and the authorization to refund my $$, however he didn't do that, so now I'm in the same situation again. The reps are rude and obnoxious, despite my attempts to be polite and professional with them.

And now after waiting over 40 minutes to contact chat support, I was just met with a message stating: "We are sorry, there are not reps available for chat at the moment"

Unbelievable.

Finally got through to a supervisor and within 30 seconds, had an email sent for full refund back to my cc card. Why that was so difficult was beyond me.

The thing about digital copies is 1) anything happen to console you cant get it back 2) cant trade it in i.e. Gamestop 3) cant take it the someone's house without taking whole console.....what a waste

The main reason i digitally ordered it digitally, because i wanted to get it at midnight without the hassle of standing in line waiting to get my copy. I have had times where i pre-ordered a game and when i got to the front of the line they ran out of copies, so thats also why i ordered it digitally to ensure ill get a copy the day of its release.

Dont open your mouth when you dont know what you are talking about. You can re download the game as many times as you want. 5 dollars cheaper to go digital. Unless you trade the sports game in within 6 months you are lucky to get that at times. Especially from gamestop.

3 is somewhat true since you have to re-download the entire game on the other console once you sign in.

Dont open your mouth when you dont know what you are talking about. You can re download the game as many times as you want. 5 dollars cheaper to go digital. Unless you trade the sports game in within 6 months you are lucky to get that at times. Especially from gamestop.
