The offline mode was still playable.

I'm not upset over technical issues. I'm upset over lack of communication from Sony. You have customers with their money in your hand. I'm patient and cool with waiting –*but I'd at least like to know when I can expect things to get better.

FWIW I was able to get a refund. Talked to someone via Sony's chat and they tried to talk me into waiting for a fix as they were "working very hard" to get it going. I told them no chance, been a PS user for 18 years and this is completely unacceptable.

Got a confirmation number from them, went to WalMart, got a hard copy.

Should have waited.

Anyone having any luck here in the United States? I went and picked up a hard copy. Currently downloading at 55%. Opening video is awesome. Im waiting in queue to get my money refunded through PSN. If you advertise a 12:01am EST download time and after 12 hours you're still not getting anything. They should feel stupid. FAIL. Happy gaming friends

don't come at me saying that the show and Sony are to different thing when the show is made by SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment America)

Let's keep calm a little bit. They are two completely separate things. It's like blaming the TV division for this too. Yes, they are owned by Sony; however, they have no control over the department that handles PSN nor does that department have control over the San Diego studio.

Ramone has stated earlier that it is not on their end. There is no reason not to believe him as he has never lied to us before or a reason to start. It's really just poor planning and marketing. It happens in every business.

Does it suck... yes. Should you be upset... you have every right to be. If it the fault of every single employee of Sony, especially the game developer... not at all.

Yea, but there was no indication that The Show would be a game available for pre-loading. We all hoped it was, but that's our assumptions & hopes.

And the game was available for pre-order before the date for the 1.70 firmware was even announced.

We're all frustrated, but this was....I don't even know.

Sort of. But then again they advertised that the game would be available at 12:01am est at the point of sale. So, I don't think it's unreasonable to say they actually owed us that (or something reasonably close to it).

I get it, i really do. If I had ordered digitally I'd be pretty annoyed, but I wouldn't expect Sony to do anything to compensate me. I believe they will have the game available today as promised, but I understand why people feel the way they do.

people who act like we shouldn't be somewhat upset are ignorant. Playstation is a billion dollar industry. This is what they do as a job making more then i'm sure 90% of us do. Yes, i understand things happen. But if you advertise something months in advance. And you a company like Sony where we pour countless dollars into. Things like this should happen. They dropped the ball. No excuses.

Im not exactly sure what you want them to say. They have said they are working on it. Do you want them to say that every hour? Its not like they have just forgotten about it.

Thats not the point. People spent there money pre ordering. They were given a specific time they could start downloading the game. 12:01am est. It is now 9:55am est and the download is still not available. There has been no official comment by Sony on the matter. What makes it worse is this is a Sony game so the mess up is all on them. People would feel better if Sony at least said "hey we screwed up on our end, we're working to fix it, game should be available at x time."
