I'm not worried about a refund taking a lot of time, if they do. I'm more worry about the aggro I pull from my wife if she sees $120+ in charges for games at the same time lmao

Just explain the situation to your wife, she'll understand it. Mine did. She said I was an idiot not going for the hard copy at first, but she understand, even if I'm still an idiot in that case

I had the same situation with Thief (awful, awful game), customer service said a refund wouldn't be an issue then I got the same email saying no refunds... I'm with you, no more digital for me, which means no more games for me since I was going all-digital this gen. I hope The Show is good since it will be the last game I buy for a very long time.

Well, if this happen, then I'll download the game, get the hard copy for trading, and everything will be fine.

Where I agree is that if I got a mail saying no refund, then it's going to be the bank involved and Sony won't get anymore money from me at the Store.

How will that work? Will the install for the digital copy just already be there from the physical one? So like, no DL time orrrr?

Not sure. I was planning on saving my franchise progress to the cloud and just delete the game from my ps4 and just download the game sometime this weekend when I hope traffic is low.

I wonder if I can just download the game with the physical disk installed and if the download would be quicker. I don't have much experience with this so I don't know. I wonder if I only need a license to be downloaded for the digital version to allow me to play without the disk.

Sony never got it to the servers, EVERYONE who went digital don't have it right now. it's being resolved. :/

For all those getting excited over a refund, slow down....I had something similiar with my purchase of Infamous: Second Son. It didn't show up as purchased for nearly a week and few days before it did I requested a refund. I was told by the Live Chat representitive that I would get a refund. Two days later (still no d/l available) I get an e-mail saying that all purchases are final and a refund would not be issued. Seeing as this is my second time I've had an issue with Sony's online store I won't be making the mistake again for a long, long time.

Yeah, getting burned once is more than enough for me. I cannot see myself every purchasing a digital copy of a game through the PSN again.

Got through to support on Live chat. Spoke with the Jose S. At this point they aren't even arguing anymore. I asked for a refund and she just asked for my PlayStation Account and ID. Gave me a ticket number and told me the refund would be processed in the next 7 business days. As others have noted, there may be reason to be skeptical about ever actually receiving funds. But, at this point I'm done with the digital version of the game. I'll grab a hard copy during lunch.
