nice work keep it up. if its not a problem would share some of the cubs stats id just like to see what they're doing even though they are 13-41(lol that's not a shock) but guys like Rizzo, castro, Lake, Wood, Rondon. pretty much their young guys and baez and Bryant.

I've already pulled of some pretty awesome trades..
Got Eric Hosmer for Garrett Jones and a pair of B potential pitching prospects.
Also got Gio Gonzalez for three B pitching prospects.
Hah, smart idea moving our plethora of pitching prospects and flipping them for win now guys. Curious though any ideas for options at 3B? Currently running between a mix of Dietrich and Solano.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Franchise Progress

Well after much thinking, I decided to start a franchise with my Astros. I kept going back and forth between them and Kansas City, but I decided the Astros would be more fun for me since they are my favorite team.

My 40-Man Roster is identical to the actual Astros, and I decided to make my lineup exactly like theirs as well.

I simulated to tomorrow's date (May 9) and decided to start from there. We went up against the Orioles (my first real game on here). Feldman pitched a very solid game, but we couldn't get our bats going, losing 3-0.

We're 15-21, tied for worst in the AL West (Rangers are also 15-21). Athletics lead the division at 21-15.

Swept the reds then lost to the dbacks 8-5. Hammel gave up 7 runs in 4.1. Rizzo coming off a 4-4 game went 2-4 with a homer and double 2 RBI, Castro chipped in a solo home run as well. I am 8-10 in 4th place in tr NL central brewers are 14-6 tied with boston for best record. I'm only hitting like .103 with mike olt but have 8 RBI second most on my team (rizzo first with 15) so it's kinda hard to take him out, he's also hitting like .429 with RISP.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Franchise Progress

Played my second game against Baltimore. Decided to rest quite a few guys that were exhausted, and the hitting problems I had the previous game completely disappeared.

We kicked the game off with a 4-0 lead after a solo HR by Chris Carter and a 3-run HR by Jesus Guzman.

Cosart pitched a brilliant game until the 6th inning, when my defense fell apart with 3 errors allowing 5 runs.

We stayed down 5-4 until the 9th inning when George Springer hit a game-winning 2-run HR. Chad Qualls finished the game for a save. We won 6-5.

It was a great game to play.

Your opener was March 31 so it's not counted in the monthly summary.

Anyone know if Tommy Florival is a free agent and/or on a team in real life? He's an A potential pitching prospect free agent in my franchise and I was thinking of signing him, just want to make sure he isn't already on another team and is an actual player.

Just beat the dbacks on a walk off by rizzo. I was down 3-1 in the 8th when bonofacio had. An RBI single to trim it to a run leadthen strop came in and made things interesting setting runners on 2nd and 3rd one out,
I managed to get a pop up then ground out to wiggle my way out. Castro draws a lead off walk allowed by Addison reed then on a 3-1 pitch rizzo knocks out to right for the cubs first walk off of the season and rizzos 5th home run. Cubs now sit at 10-10 and will wrap a 4 game series with samardzja vs arroyo cubs.

Defeated Milwaukee 9-2 finally got some offense going, rizzo hit his 6th homer and had 3 RBI, Castro had a couple hits as did lake who had an RBI doule and two steals, Wellington Castillo also had 3 rbi. Edwin Jackson threw a complete game 2 runs 6 hits 8 SO and 3 bb. I Am 11-11 3.5 out of first behind the brewers who have the best offense in the league so that made Jackson's performance even better he's got 4 wins in April

These are our set rosters after our trades. The Minnesota Twins are at 4-1 after losing to a John Jaso 3 run homer,in the 8th, off the foul pole , all with 2 outs. Lost 4-2 :P. I used Bryce Harper in center last game and was efficient. So I may look to deal Jorge Soler because the plethora of OFs.
