Do you playevery game every other, or just randomly pick? <o></o>

I typicallyplay opening day and then sim 5 to get to my next starter so I’m usingeveryone. I like to progress throughmultiple years and develop my team. Italso forces me to build a team that can not only win when user controlled, butsimulated as well. If it’s crunch timeand were fighting for a playoff spot I’ll play a few additional games as neededvs competitive teams. There areoccasions during season where there are games I just want to play ex. (I playas MKE so playing Boston/NYY is pretty cool), or if a my team or cpu has made abig trade recently I like to play that team. I simply don’t have time for 162 games a year. I greatly enjoy the year to year developmentof my club just as much. I’m hopefulthat 14 has improved progression and improved contracts, 13 was pretty bad, almost unplayable bad.<o></o>

In the past I never did, I would play all the NL Central games (as the Cardinals) then play the interleague games and then just 1 or 2 games a series with the rest of the NL teams. But with quick count this year I might try playing them all. Maybe only simming 1 game a series with if it against a really bad team late in the year.

Good idea, my only concern with quick count is my K rate will increase greatly as I'll become overly aggressive. I do like the idea though.

Im goimg to try to with quick counts but ive never done so before. Usually I would play 1 game per week or when I got to a ballpark I liked playing in and then I would ay every playoff game

My normal method is I play the first 10 games in full (this gets me some nice base stats, plus gives me some time with each of my pitchers), then I use the play 1 sim 5 method. Which means you play one game with your #1 starter, then the next full game is with your #2 and so and and so fourth.

One caveat is I don't just sim the games in between. I enter them and use Fast-Forward to the 7th inning then intervene accordingly. Playing this way I at least get a say in many more games than I would if I was to just straight sim them.

I'll probably work in some QC games this year, as well.

I typically play 1 game from each series, or every other series to get a variety of starters and teams.

I play every game until I clinch the division or am eliminated from contention. One year I got 3 seasons in, but usually I get about a season and a half. I haven't decided if I want to use quick counts yet, but I'm thinking I might try it when certain pitchers are starting or maybe play one regular game a series and use quick counts the rest.

Yes, but I can finish half a season usually.

This is usually who I approach it. Play a handful of games right off the bat then sim through the starters with a week or so in-between. Provided the sim stats are realistic, it makes for a pretty good overall product.

honestly I hardly ever get too deep in my franchise before I get an idea for a new one. Then I want to just sim and develop my players and draft

                        Play em all...all 162...every pitch.

I have to, i simply cant bear the end results to be anything other than "mine" if you get that.

Simming is a dirty word to me lol.

Perhaps a little bit of OCD, what can i say, we all have it in us

I simmed the start of the season to play 'catch up' then played every game so far on roughly the same day as the real Marlins play.

Planning on playing the whole season the same way to see how my virtual franchise does compared to the real one.

I like to progress well into franchise so I play 1, sim 5. Last year I was able to complete 5 full seasons and get a few of my drafted players to the bigs.

I’m thinking with the addition of quick counts I will be able to play more and sim less. Not sure what the ratio will be yet though.

A much underrated feature has me doing a new method this year.

                              Player lock.

Playing one full game a series and then player locking arandom player for the rest. Been using the marlins and its a joy player locking stanton.
