Lol, it has to be a tough spot to be a gaming company these days.

Your options are:

1. Overkill your budget on servers to be sure that no one has problems for the first day, and after a week, half of those servers are useless for the reduced traffic load and you've spent way too much money.

2. Buy the correct amount, and suffer horrific reviews and social media flak for the first week, only to be completely fine once the initial interest has waned.

There isn't really a perfect way to handle it. I've kinda taken to giving them a pass on the first week.

Very similar to when a new hot restaurant/bar opens up. The wait (sans reservation) for a table is long, service sub-par, etc...give it a few weeks for the hype to die down and it will run much smoother once they get all of the kinks worked out. So I kind of do give them a pass initially with the online delays, however load times for local play are still way too long (IMO) and I don't quite understand why it took 45 minutes or whatever for the game to install from disc to hard drive?

Anyone know how to get a 1v1 going with a friend online? I dont see any options to simply invite a friend. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Pick the "game room" option from the main menu and have both you and your friend join the same room.

From there, you should be able to click on your friend's name and send him an challenge.

He can accept your challenge by bringing up the touchpad menu.

for me the problem is whenever i pick an online feature it tells me your connection has been lost. but i have internet and it works fine. i closed the game and reopened it but the same problem. ill try to shut off the ps4 and start it again and hope it works. if anyone has the same issues please reply
