Players do fatigue too fast. Durability does correct this but I think there should be separate ratings for fatigue and durability.

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
Sim a season.
Go check the historical stats for 2013.
I think you'll be surprised at how it matches up.
I just did and had 72 players play more than 150 games.
The MLB in 2013 had 60.
4 players played 162 GP
The actual MLB had 4.
Until your players fatigue level is extremely low....you do not need to sit him.
Even below a half full bar...your team player is not "tired".

I agree though, I think people get bent out of shape when their players bar falls to half. I play my guys until their bar is practically empty.Comment

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
I just edited and put every position players durability to 95. They seem to wear down eventually, without needing too many days of rest.REDSKINS & WIZARDSComment

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
Definitely glad to know we don't have to rest them that much cause once they started getting halfway I've been Resting them and it was bugging me. Gonna try leaving them in for more games now

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
)....but I too rarely sub my players unless their energy is really low. Definitely below a quarter bar(and even then I play them). Like someone said....the biggest chance of something happening when you play a tired player is an injury chance(which I think is low IN GAMES PLAYED...anyway)....I think the different messages will also correspond to slight hits in ratings as well until a player is rested.(I'd have to check on this....as I remember talking to Kolbe about it...so that was years ago)....
So the "batting cages" message might mean a slight hit to contact/power....the fatigue message is injury/speed....that's easy enough to check if it's still in.(remember....your coaches also give a slight rating boost...so count that in as well if you check in game)
For RP....I don't pitch a guy at 1/3 or lower.....and I put RP stamina at 2 on the sliders

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
Thanks Knight..I think the real problem is the CPU will rest players more frequently than it needs to because once fatigue gets to certain level it starts yanking them. And if you put durability too high then you won't see injuries (I think that is right). Hence why I think fatigue should have its own rating.Comment

IMO....that is what the game really needs....
...and yes...if there is somewhat of an issue...it's with the CPU managers ALWAYS "listening" to the coach suggestion and resting players in played games when they "shouldn't"(you and I don't have to)
So IMO...it's not actually the fatigue that's the problem...it's the coach/manager decisions at start of game that could be tweaked.

In all fairness I did DH him one of those games, and if you notice your DH's energy level barely moves no matter how many games he plays.Comment

Where does it show the fatigue bar? I've been looking and can't find it.Comment

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
I always thought there should be...and have asked for a separate injury rating.

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
I think the fatigue system for players is spot on.
Where I'd say the game needs improvement is with that little prompt thing. That prompt is a bit ridiculous. It pops up after only 3 or 4 games, and honestly I think it does more harm than good. OP isn't alone here, there's a ton of people who are misled to think their players are at a "critical" energy level when they really aren't, just because of that prompt. These threads pop up all the time, and I feel like the ambiguity and earliness of that notification are the problem.
I feel like SCEA should just ditch it altogether. Reserve a prompt for when the energy bar is completely empty, else leave it in the user's hands.Comment
