Do you have a PSN? Can you access roster vaults etc?? I think that's all you need. On the DATA page in franchise mode where SAVE, LOAD, and DELETE are, there is an UPLOAD TO CLOUD option in the lower right corner. I just click on that and it lets me save to a mysterious cloud somewhere.

Oh, I never even noticed that. Cool. Thanks. I just uploaded it. I've now played three games in a row without a crash... fingers crossed.

Here's something I was thinking that might have caused the issue. It may be completely unrelated but...

I've turned the game off (held the PS button down, went down to the bottom and shut the machine off) mid-game before. I've only done this a few times for various reasons. I'm wondering if doing this is bad for the system. Kind of the same way that you shouldn't just hit the power button on a PC. All the systems, operations, applications, etc. that are running might be screwed up somehow. I don't know if this is the case, but just a thought.

Just happened to me in my 141st game of the season!

Bottom of the 4th, 2 out, bases loaded and Homer Bailey... yes the freakin' pitcher just glided one past short, to bring home a pair... put me down 3-1 and then the error.

What i noticed before that was the PIP of the bases went black and then the game dumped to desktop...

I hope this isnt going to wreck my save

I've noticed in an online franchise if I play two user games in a row I get the error every time. I've only got the error once while playing against the CPU.

I haven't had the issue ever since I deleted the full game off my hard drive and then did a fresh install. I didn't touch it while it was installing this time. The first day I got the game, I played an exhibition game in the middle of it installing and I worry that maybe it could have corrupted some data or something? Who knows? I haven't had the error for a month now since I did the fresh install.

Well count me in... Just got my first error message too. It occurred after first turning the system on then started the show and Xed out of the intro and after the loading was finished you have to it options and that's when it appeared to freeze, I waited awhile still nothing so I long pushed the ps button and tried closing the game only to be greeted with the error message letting me know that I know belong to the ever growing membership. Damn it....

This just happened to me 3 times. I can't seem to get past the main screen. It freezes when I hit the option button.

I justgot it as well. Played all day yesterday andit was fine, now ccan't get passed the main screen and it locks. Every other game works fine.

Yeah, it's completely unplayable for me now. I hesitate to delete and reinstall because I don't know if my franchise is automatically stored on the cloud?

I think it's a network issue. I have disconnected from PSN and it works fine. Now I can't log into the PSN network but the game play fine and all my files are there.

I just got it too after a foul ball. I guess I feel a little better now knowing it seems to be a network issue

Definitely a network issue, as you can read in the neighborhood section. Sony suffered a DDOS attack and everything is shut down.

What exactly does that mean, should I not bother trying to play any more games until this is resolved? Feel free to explain it to me like I'm a 5 year old because I know nothing about this type of stuff
