Re: I win too easily
Will dynamic tell me what difficulty it is currently on so I know what to use? Or will it just stay as dynamicComment

Re: I win too easily
At the beginning of each inning on the top of the screen it will tell you where you're at. The levels are rookie, rookie+, veteran, veteran+ etc. After the level name it will show pluses or minuses to show how close you are to jumping (or dropping) to a new level, they don't change your difficulty level. For example if you're just under veteran it might show your difficulty level like "rookie+ +++".Comment

Re: I win too easily
The other thing to keep in mind is that you could just be pitching well. I mean you see all these threads and posts about "comeback code" over the years, and none of those guys ever want to admit they're losing focus and straight up blowing games, and here you are probably locked in and executing your pitches, employing sound strategy and pitch selection, etc., and you're holding leads and winning games because of it.
That's kind of what I was suggesting in my earlier post as well - I just have a really hard time with the idea that in the back of your mind you're somehow disappointed with success. I've spent way too much time below .500 (case in point I'm 11-15 with the Tigers right now in my 'chise), way too much time hitting sub-.250 with Miguel Cabrera (case in point .258 right now), and have lost way too many quality pitchers to a 2-6 6.34 ERA start to the season (case in point Max Scherzer, last year's Cy Young, is 1-2 with a 5.67 ERA through 6 starts), to concern myself when my players are putting up numbers that are "too good."
I'm the Detroit friggin' Tigers; I wanted 11-1 out of the gate, and then maybe 15-5. Instead I got 5-10 and 11-15. Now I'm aiming for 30-20, meaning I have to 19-5 to get there. If I was miffed when my pitchers pitched well I'd never do that. I'd basically be wanting to hover around .500 the whole season.
You HAVE to allow for some ebb and flow. If you're 10-2 and rocking a filthy team ERA I say GO WITH IT.
That's just general advice, though. You still definitely want to tweak the sliders so that it's not literally too easy, where your approach is meaningless, you still strike everyone out for instance. But I don't think that really happens unless you've got the AI contact sliders all gimped. For the most part, this game is balanced as all hell, that's my main point - don't disregard your successes because this game can and most likely will turn on you in an instant.Comment

Re: I win too easily
Hope it keeps working for you. A couple more games and you'll probably be up to rookie+, which by the sound of it seems like it would be a good fit for you.Comment

Re: I win too easily
I put the game on Dynamic difficulty from the first game I played and have left it alone since. Currently on Veteran+ for hitting and Veteran+ +++ for pitching. Great new feature that doesn't seem to get noticed enough.Comment
