Yes elevation or lack there of affects the distance of how the balls travel and how hard your pitchers can throw.

E.g, A pitcher that throws 95 max could probably hit 96-97 in Coors.

I'm shocked that no one's mentioned Busch Stadium. Hands down the nicest ballpark in the bigs. Rogers Centre is UGLY! Unfortunately for me

Doing a Red Sox franchise and every year I love playing at Target Field. I want a night game in the worst way so I can see that beautiful twin cities board lit up.

IRL, yes. But on the PS4 the architecture is beautiful.

Let's all be real guys. You don't go to Oakland Coliseum to see the stadium. You go to get huge amounts of foul territory , the Marine air coming in during the 6th or 7th , and pitchers park effects. Personally those are best when visiting.

I took Safeco field in my fantasy draft. I remember the precision and Steel when Ichiro , Bret Boone , Edgar and company would rattle off 100 win seasons. The green seats were so fresh. Now they moved the fences in slightly and the park plays pretty even.

On the plus side all 4 parks you visit in division are very different and easy on the eyes. Except O.co.
I play MLB exclusively with my cousin. Usually looking for info on Franchises. We played minor league baseball as 9-10 YOs on the Zephyrs.

The trick is you have to play in all the stadiums equally or else even the best ones can become too familiar and lose their appeal.

ATT, PNC Park, Target Field......Busch is probably nicer on the outside then the inside....while nice the outside is so emaculate that once u see the inside ur like ok its cool. Plus its a cookie cutter. ATT, PNC and Target Field all are very unique</p>

I thought Busch in the game was a horrible looking stadium at night, as its almost pitch black in the outfield stands. PNC Park is really dark too.

Looks good. But cant stand playing there. Tried to do a franchise with the Phillies. Way to many balls to RF hit off part of the wall then bounce straight up. Gets annoying very fast.

I wish they would've got the infield dirt right. But, other than that, it looks good.

I'm doing an RTTS as an Astro right now and Minute Maid looks really good. I love PNC but the lighting issues bug me. I think CitiField looks really good and brightly lit. I think SafeCo looks awesome. Still haven't played in a lot of stadiums but honestly they all look good outside from the lighting issues in some of them.
I must have odd taste then but I think this is beautiful and it's something you don't see or experience anywhere else in MLB. I think in the game Tampa is just so well lit, it definitely if nothing else has the best lighting in the entire game of all ballparks. The lights, the lcds and overall atmostphere in Tropicana is top notch.

Toronto is downright the ugliest stadium to me, I dread games there. So I'm not an indoor stadium homer. Of course minute maid is a nice stadium, but Oak and Tampa are the two I pick. I think I have an affinity for Oakland because it's a place featured in a big movie and I'm constantly aware of that every I look around, so there is a special vibe about it. And it's a coliseum, a very large stadium with alot of open space, and a converted football stadium so it's very special to look at, at least to me.

I do wish more ballparks were in play but the lighting issue isn't patched in yet so there is more that remains to be seen. I'm interested in going back to St Louis as soon as they fix the issue because it is definitely beautiful before the night effect kicks in.
