Not sure what your definition of cookie cutter is but it is definitely not one. Old Busch certainly was.

Once again, this has nothing to do with the actual real-life stadium - this thread is about the nicest parks in the game. It's not my favorite but it still looks good with the lighting in-game.

Exactly. I don't deny it's awful watching games in on TV. But in the show it looks awesome.

Only issue I have with CBP this year is the Liberty Bell not lighting up properly.

PNC is a great park but in the game the skyline is too dark at night. Looks like a blackout In the city.

I started a franchise with the Angels and their stadium looks very good. I like playing home games there.

I like Citi Field in real life but I never was impressed on how it looked in any of the video games since they started using it.

PNC is perhaps the biggest disappointment in the game, IMO. The pitch black outfield and skyline is a deal breaker for me. It's gotten to the point where avoid playing games there at all costs. And that's a shame because it's one of the most beautiful places to watch a game in RL.

On the other hand, some parks (like Rogers Centre) are done so well in-game they actually look better than the real one.

So id like to know what teams have the best looking ballparks at night with lighting...btw this game is owning my life right now.
sorry for going offtopic, but what are those lightning issues?

The lights, the lcds and overall atmostphere in Tropicana is top notch.
                    Spoiler

Toronto is downright the ugliest stadium to me, I dread games there. So I'm not an indoor stadium homer. Of course minute maid is a nice stadium, but Oak and Tampa are the two I pick. I think I have an affinity for Oakland because it's a place featured in a big movie and I'm constantly aware of that every I look around, so there is a special vibe about it. And it's a coliseum, a very large stadium with alot of open space, and a converted football stadium so it's very special to look at, at least to me.

I do wish more ballparks were in play but the lighting issue isn't patched in yet so there is more that remains to be seen. I'm interested in going back to St Louis as soon as they fix the issue because it is definitely beautiful before the night effect kicks in.

Yeah I just think you're crazy re: Coliseum and The Trop lol. That's OK though.

                    In defense of Rogers....

In real life, Rogers Centre is a bottom 5 ballpark. But IN GAME I actually think it looks awesome. I wouldn't want to do a franchise there and have to play 80+ games, but it's a great stadium to visit. First of all, it's open 100% of the time which is a positive. Everything looks better with sky and natural light rather than overhead artificial lighting. Also I think part of what makes it cool in game is that there is so much architecture and "stuff" going on out there in the stands. There's like a million different levels and structures (isn't it actually part of a hotel out in centerfield?), and it looks better in the video game than it does in real life. The artists did a great job with it. Plus the cool Toronto skyline you can see from certain angles, including the CN Tower. During day games, the stadium casts some really cool shadows. I just played a series there in my RTTS and took some screenshots

As for Tampa, I just think it looks like a dingy, beige warehouse with flourescent lighting. There's what looks like brown stains all over the walls. There's nothing aesthetically pleasing about it.

Almost all of my play time on The Show 14 has been in RTTS, and my guy is in the AL so there are still a number of NL stadiums I haven't played in that I'm looking forward to. Might have to sign with an NL team when my contract is up. It would be Pittsburgh for sure, because PNC is gorgeous, but the lighting issue gives me pause. It still looks amazing in the daytime/dusk though.

I think the padres stadium is amazing in this game. It's really cool seeing stadiums for the first time when you're franchise team rolls into town.
