Re: Which stances have real follow throughs?
I think Bryce Harper's does. I feel dirty using it as a Braves fan though. -

Re: Which stances have real follow throughs?
So I just tried out harper and ackleys stance for my RTTS player and surprise surprise, you DO NOT get their follow through. Must be hard coded into just that player. Another corner cut and another disappointment.
Edit: Harper actually doesnt have a real follow through, he still has the generic two hand follow through. However, ackley does and it did not carry over to my RTTS player.Last edited by CJ10; 05-25-2014, 11:25 AM.Comment

Japanese (Ichiro) and slap swings are only hard coded right now.Comment

Re: Which stances have real follow throughs?
Yeah Im not talking about the HR swing, Im talking about just the regular follow through on any batted ball. I havent found any that worked on my RTTS guy yet, so it seems they are all hard coded, not just the slap ones. Either way thats just flat ridiculous. You should be able to use the follow through on any swing that is from that side of the plate. Same with HR swings. Guess thats just another thing we will have to wait till next year for.Comment

Re: Which stances have real follow throughs?
I just made a new test RTTS and gave him tulos stance, he did not have tulos swing follow through. So all follow throughs are in fact hard coded. Completely ruins having them in the game if you cant use them with anyone else.Comment

Re: Which stances have real follow throughs?
If you give a RH batter Tulo's stance and don't change the follow through (1 hand/2 hand) you will see the same follow throughs (minus no doubt HRs) as you would with Tulo. Regular follow throughs (everyone not hard coded to Japanese or slap) are swing dependent so just because Tulo swung one way once and your guy swung another doesn't mean they have different sets of follow throughs.Comment

Legend 28 is Ken Griffey Jr... the swing doesn't seem as smooth/sexy as his thoughComment

Re: Which stances have real follow throughs?
Yeah the stance is a pretty good replica, but the swing doesn't even hold a candle. And everybody knows it was Griffeys swing that was so gorgeous. I had to stop using it for my RTTS guy because it was just a cold, empty shell of what his swing was lol.Comment
