What is the effect of putting more effort into the pitch? I think I saw something like a tap is for more accuracy, and pressing longer is for more effort.

When I tried more effort, pressing longer, seemed like I gained velocity. More velocity would seem to result in less break, at least that's what I'm thinking.

More effort actually means more break because there is more spin and at least for me it's accurately represented in the game.

Doesn't necessarily mean it's a good thing, I throw more balls with max effort but they definitely break more for me than they do with less effort.

More break could be a result, but there could also be less break, but more depth and sharpness to the movement.

I edited my post while you were typing and changed the word velocity to effort, didn't mean to use velocity to say what I was going for.
