How have prospects turned out in your franchise?
I'm in 2018 with my Giants and I have Kris Bryant, Javier Baez, and Billy Hamilton (had some big drafts and traded some other A potentials and made some ridiculously unrealistic trades to get them). Bryant and Baez have been up for a couple seasons now and Bryant has hit around .270 with 20 hr's every season but Baez has been underwhelming despite being 91 ovr. His rookie season he ruptured his Achilles after hitting close to .400 for the first couple weeks of the season and it's like the game took that into account and the past couple years have been sub .250 average with no more than 15 hrs a year and in 2018 he's hitting below the mendoza line about a month in. I got Hamilton the beginning of last season and he hit .250 with 40-50 SBs which is what I expected. How have prospects done in your franchises?Tags: None -
Re: How have prospects turned out in your franchise?
Are you playing the games? I am about 80 games into my first season with my Rockies franchise so haven't had much experience with my prospects. But I am excited I can continue this franchise into the next year's edition. Kinda keeps me going. And I'm excited to start bringing some of these guys up.
Gonna be some difficult decisions in the future as far as who to keep and who has to go in order to get these rookies some time.

Re: How have prospects turned out in your franchise?
Xander Bogaerts has really exceeded expectations in my fantasy franchise. I drafted him and stashed him in AAA. He was barely hitting over .250 when I brought him up due to injury. He had an underwhelming first season, but it's september in my second season and he's batting over .300. He's been an important part of the team.
Meanwhile Kris Bryant can't hit AAA pitching. I've sent him down to AA at least 5 times in the past 2 seasons. He usually rakes in AA, and then he's right back to slumping in AAA. It's a shame because I could use him really soon in the big leagues.
Lastly I have Travis D'arnaud, who's lucky to be over the mendoza line in AA. Really disappointing.Comment

I'm the Padres and my best prospect Matt Wisler. He went from 88 pot to 92 pot half way through 2014.
Now his stats are are on pace to be equal to Sale/Bumgarner at 24 years old. Currently 22 and 81 overallComment

Noah Syndergaard - called up and is 6-2 with an ERA of 2.30 ish (Was under 2.00 but he got rattled in his last start for 6 runs).. 140+ Ks. Im getting 98 consistently out of his fastball, 99 at tops but that is rare.
