If you view the trading block it will tell you what teams care interested in certain players as well as what the CPU teams are looking for.

Sounds like the "Shop a Player" in OOTP.

That would be great to have in MLB:TS...

A trade finder would be great. It is especially helpful to people (such as myself) that use team that are unfamiliar to us. It provides you with some suggestions if you are trying to accomplish something through trading. I often don't know how much a player is worth.

I think the trade finder should work a lot like the player finder does; you should be able to narrow down players with numerous different categories.

I loved that feature, the show needs to add it. Trading is rather difficult using the current system

This would be great. The trade system currently is dumb. You can't figure out what the CPU wants (everyone is looking for RP and C apparently, but no one will ever accept a trade for those).

The only time you can make a deal is if the CPU makes you an offer off your Trading Block list, and usually you're getting screwed.

                      Re: TRADE Finder

ASB 05 had this and it was incredible.

What you would do is go to any team pick whatever player you wanted and it would tell you what player(s) if any of yours the cpu would take in this trade.

you could also put out a player from your team and go through each team and find out what player(s) you could get in trade. it was a much easier way to do trades.

it was more like a gm talking to a gm and saying here is who i am looking for, who do i have to give up to get them? they tell you and then you say... yes or no...

there was no construction to it really. I personally don't have the patience to go through and build a trade like i have seen some guys on You tube do. For most of us i guess that is part of the fun. For me it is very frustrating.

It would be much easier and time saving for those of us that aren't savvy in such areas to have this as an option to the current trade system.

Like i said this could be an option not a take the place of the current system.

I suggest that the dev team go back and play asb 05 and take a look at this and a few other features it had (NL and AL hot and cold report, daily weather forcasts for all games etc.)

These are just my thoughts of the current state of affairs in the show...

Would be a great thing to have. That was one of the few things better about 2k baseball.

Very difficult to program in baseball. Much easier in basketball. I doubt it will happen and if it does I'll be surprised if it doesn't have a lot of problems. too many positions in baseball and too many variables.

                          Nice idea, difficult to program.

With the revamped franchise mode, which was just mentioned, hopefully trades are a big part of it.

That was one of my favorite features ever in a baseball game. I'd create an expansion team, then try to cobble together a decent roster through trades. I'd love to see it make a comeback.
