    Re: TRADE Finder

i mean like i said, it felt like you were a gm really shopping a player and finding out what if anything you could get in return and it was so much more time saving in terms of trying to figure it all out.

i mean yeah sure just like in todays games there were your "untouchable" players on any team, but if you wanted to see what you had to give up for say... a brandon moss of the A's it would say... here is what we want in return... these are the players it will take to get him...

again i know that there are a lot of people that enjoy the hunt their is in this system and that is fine we can have both... that is and easy compromise i would think... it is the show after all... something for everyone...

      Re: TRADE Finder

I'd like to see this some time myself eventually... I believe OOTP already has a similar feature.

There are situations where a GM would like to dump a specific player (e.g., because he doesn't fit the current plan), but the GM would not care as much as to what he gets in return. The concept of "player to be named later" is kinda like that, and the difference is that the decision doesn't have to be postponed...

I'd imagine it's actually quite natural for a GM to ask "what can I get for this player on my team?" It's like having a conversation.

And it saves time... right now it is very time consuming to find a possible trade.

I thought for years this is one thing that needed to be added. It would really be a nice addition to the game if they add it.

This would be great. I always feel like it's ridiculously difficult to trade players or trade for players. i.e For some reason the Reds wanted a B potential LF for Jay Bruce, but Minnesota wanted 2 A's and a B for Josmil Pinto....
