Re: Please supply us with questions for the Dev Team

1.Has the team really looked at the lazy fielding animations in the outfield? (and the deliberate 3rd and SS throws too on slow as sin base runners and then no urgency with speedy base runners).
Too many times I see OF taking too many casual steps with runners in scoring position instead of coming to hard stops and firing the ball in with urgency. It can be extremely aggravating. Fielding is a huge area of opportunity for improvement and I hope this area and the animations/physics end of it is really being upgraded.

    2. Pickoff moves resulting in far too many balls thrown into the stands - it need to be fixed. You can't use your best move without fear of an overthrow. It is a rare error in The Show, not one every 3 or 4 like I see in the game. Maybe they can create a pickoff rating so we know what pitchers have more propensity to make a throwing error on deceptive/fast pickoff moves.

So ask about fielding animations and getting them to be more dynamic to the situation on the field (RISP vs no men on base in particular on throws from the OF). And fixing the pick-off error issue that has plagued the game for years.

Re: Please supply us with questions for the Dev Team

      1. Did the in game presentation Stat Overlays get a major upgrade to look and react much more like what you see on real baseball TV Broadcasts? 2 examples (3 Run Home Run Chess Utley 34th This Season) should pop up while camera is on Utley rounding first base or crossing home plate going into the dug out. And in between inning batter due up overlays should show (2 for 4, 1 for 4, 3 for 4) type stats under the batters picture and names. Was these kind of things added at all to the presentation?

      2. Has the Scorebar changed again? Does it still have "Crossing Finger" number of pitchers thrown displayed? Does the Scorebar look better, same or worse?

      3. Did the player models get a "Next Gen" update that puts them on par with NBA2K15?

      4. Do players finally wear there home team Jerseys in the All Star Game?

      5. Do umpires wear Jackets during Cold Weather games? Like games played in the Fall or playoff games?

      6. Can you pick the "Time of day" like 12,1,4,7,8 for exhibition games?

      7. Did all the stadiums get a major graphic update with real working LED boards?

      8. Was the grass in all stadiums greatly improved if at all?

      10. How many more fan models have been added to the crowed? And do they finally catch foul balls and home runs? And also pick up foul balls off the field?

      11. Can you ask Russell why the "Rosin bag" is still not shown on the pitchers mound in real time? I would think this should now be possible on the PS4.

      12. Have Ball physics been once again improved enough to see a major difference?

      13. Do we finally get real stadium flyovers before game begins?

      14. Will the chalk lines finally degrade again though out the game?

This was broken in a patch and was never fixed.

      15. Are there finally opened and closed roofs for all stadiums that have them in real life?

      16. Were there a lot of new gameplay animations added? And were a lot of older slow ones that made gameplay look awkward removed?

      17. Any news on if Sounds of the Show is returning?

      18. Do they now show a players life time stats and which team he played for on back of a baseball card?

Overall do you think MLB 15 The Show is a MAJOR update with True "Next Gen" looks or just a SMALL update that still looks too much like a PS3 port compared to MLB 14 The Show? Are the Graphics on par with other current Sports games is really what I am asking.

As you can tell I really care a lot about the little things! lol

      Thanks and have fun!

Will fans catch foul balls and Homeruns this year?

Did they add more crowd models? If so how many more?

Will the dugout be more animated during a game? Especially after home-runs, crucial plays?

Almost every cut-scene in '14 was pitcher/batter. Will this be expanded?

Will there be appropriate reactions in close games? You can hit a ninth-inning, game-tying HR in '14, and the guy just trots into home-plate like nothing.

Is the PS4 version now the only main version?

Did getting it running on PS4 set them back or are they caught up now with all the work they wanted to get done for 15?

                  Carryover saves question.

Do we have to be at a certain point in MLB 14 to carryover the save for MLB 15?

                  EXAMPLE
Do I have to be in the off season of 14 in order for it to work?

Do I have to have 1\2 a season completed?

Can it be carried over from any date in 14?

Just would like a clear answer on this if possible.

Re: Please supply us with questions for the Dev Team

                    Visual:
-Improved Graphics? Player models, cloth physics, textures, etc.

-Homerun Camera Option? Hate it, would like to turn it off.

Fielding: This is a key area that the game needs to improve upon. Any info on how fielding has changed would be much appreciated. Here's some things to consider asking..

-New Animations? How many? Was any position focused on more than others?

-Defensive Urgency? Will my SS hang back and casually play a ball to his backhand or will they now charge the ball at a better angle? Will outfielders throw the ball back in with more urgency?

-Wider Gap in Defensive Ability? I feel as though a below average fielder is almost as good as someone who is considered elite. Fielders have always seemed interchangeable to me.

-Do Corner Infielders Still Suck? This may be due to a lack of animations for the position. There are so many "in-between" balls hit to 1st and 3rd base. Let the animation play out and you've missed it, or dive over the top of the ball... Either way, a lot of hits got by corner infielders, at least in my experience they did.

-Dynamic Catch Indicator: Thought this was a good addition to '14 to help make fielding a little more adventurous. Has there been any tweaks or additions to this? If a ball is hit directly over my fielder's head and I have to turn and run without looking at the ball, will the indicator disappear? That would be a nice little addition.

                    -Catchers Still Crazy Fast?

                    Pitching:
-Pick offs rebalanced? Too many throws into the stands. Too many successful pick offs.

-Pitcher vs. Batter Stats? This would be awesome. It would add to the strategy and the presentation.

-AI Chasing Pitches? Has this been improved? It seemed that every player had an eagle eye at the plate. (I do pitch on Legend, but I feel as though hitters should still chase pitches at a realistic rate).

-Does a pitcher's velocity stay closer to their average speed for each pitch? As it currently stands in '14, it's very easy for pitchers to hit their top speed with their fastballs and their bottom speed with their offspeed pitches. This causes most fastball and change up speeds to be about 14 mph apart. In my opinion, the pitch speeds seem to be a little too erratic.

(These next couple are kind of wishes as I don't see them being in -- feel free to ask if you think they'd make worthy enough questions, or perhaps just share the idea with the devs; that would be cool too).

-Pitch Percentage Attribute? An attribute I'd like to see for pitchers. If a pitcher averages 75% fastballs per game, I'd like to see that reflected in the game. If said pitcher has only three pitches in his repertoire, the remaining 25% would go to the other 2 pitches.
For example: Fastball: 75%, Change Up: 15%, Slider: 10%

-Ground Ball/Fly Ball Attribute? Another attribute for a pitcher that gives a percentage of either ground balls or fly balls.

                    Hitting:
-Stride (analog) - Does the player reverse his stride animation when letting off the right stick when taking a pitch?

-Better Hit Variety? This may be tied in with my next bullet..

-Ball Physics - Tweaked Ball Physics? Can you hit ropes down the line without it dying? Do line drives still stay up for too long? Can you burn an outfielder (hit directly over their head - one of the hardest hits to field for an outfielder)? Are hits into the gap still casually caught by mediocre defenders? Some of this may have to do with fielding and not the ball physics, but the ball seems to have a "floaty" feeling when hit in the air, which leads to a lot of fielders jogging after the ball, even though they catch it on the "run."

-Any new follow through animations? One handed? Two handed? 3/4 follow through?

                    Baserunning:
-New Sliding Animations? The feet first slide where the player doesn't pop up looks awful, especially on steal attempts.

-Hit 'n' Run fixed? Runners would automatically slide into the next base on hit and run plays.

                      * Will the schedule be fixed in future years? Ex: I'm in 2016 and the All-Star game is being played on Friday. Sunday games are played on Wednesday. Not sure what the bug is that causes this, but while its cosmetic, its annoying...LOL

                      * Will Interleague Games change this year?

                      * Will there be a page dedicated to giving information such as Player X hit his 500th homerun, Pitcher Y threw a no-hitter, etc...

                      * Will we get more stats/information on players cards? Ex: See the years the player has played, what team, and more stats?
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

                            1. Modding teams, changing team unis (SD Padres to Charlotte Knights etc).
                            2. Real time play per game with time of day clock, especially for use during DH's.
                            3. Dynamic weather with passing rain showers and occasional rain delays or rainouts.
                            4. Ability to change playing surfacce from grass to field turf with sliding pits and open and close retractable roofs.

Re: Please supply us with questions for the Dev Team

With online play was bad as it is currently, what steps are being made to amend that for next year?

Will co-op be coming back for online? Would be great if we were able to do co-op online franchise.

Was online trade logic worked on, and specifically will there be less trades hopefully next year?

With fielding as important as it is in the game now, will we get some revamped fielding controls and animations? As a Braves fan I see a guy like Andrelton Simmons play every day, however in this game there is really no difference between him and putting Dan Uggla at short. Making fielding more fun would be awesome.

Also, some of the nonchalant fielding and throwing animations can kill you in a game to game basis and cost you runs, were these worked on?

Will there be a team/stadium creator this year?
