Because SOTS only plays MP3 that are saved to the HD and the only way to play MP3 files is through the PS4's media player via usb. So until Sony allows us to save MP3 files to our HD, we are screwed when it comes to SOTS.

I'll put it to you like this, The Game Rocksmith has purchased the license to the music you get to learn how to play the guitar on, but if you decide to stream yourself playing that game, it will not let you. Streaming Music is big business now and streams count towards sales since the record company and the artist gets a cut from streams.

I am crossing my fingers that they did an audio overhaul this year...commentary and somehow found a way to use the USB MP3 for SOTS. Technically it doesn't seem to be a challenge and if Sony created a way for us to avoid revenue generating options like streaming to play MP3's (with the USB option) then I think we have a chance.

SOTS better be in the game or I too may skip this one...It seems so counter intuitive to move to a newer, nicer system only to lose one of the best features for realism the game had. Don't give this streaming crap. The PS3 had SOTS last year and PS4 didn't. Its a feature that CAN be in the game. Get it done!!

I love sounds of the show but I'm not gonna skip if it's not in. I get it, it isn't really their fault to this point.

SOTS is everything to me. In '14, I didn't play the PS4 version even though the graphics were better bc I needed SOTS to keep me happy on the PS3. '15, I painfully played the PS4 version with no SOTS. This year I am going back to the PS3 version if it's not in PS4 because I miss it way too much and want to get immersed into SOTS once again. Here's to hoping they found a way so I can get rid of my PS3!
