One thing I will say (and no I didn't read this whole thread, so if it's already mentioned sorry)... but once they introduce SOTS for PS4, they need to include a new SOTS vault so people can upload and download.Comment

Re: No Sounds of the Show in PS4 MLB 15
Never say never but... I think this has almost 0% chance of happening because it would be used to exchange copyrighted material. People will upload soundbytes from actual songs to use as stadium music and there will be legal issues with that.Comment

Don't get me wrong though, it would be awesome. It would save everybody hours of amassing and programming clips for all 30 stadiums.
As long as we still have guys on the forums who research all this stuff and then put the files up to download, that's half the battle.Comment

That's what the OS SOTS threads are for. For example, google "MLB 14 the show sounds of the show music pack" and one of the first things you'll find is a thread with tons of files for players and teams that you can download. Sure there are a couple of extra steps to the process than an in game vault would have but it's very easy to use and SCEA doesn't have to deal with getting sued.Comment

What kind of cookie and or muffin would you like for that awesome answer? lol I think once they introduce SOTS for PS4, I'll be visiting that thread for sure.Comment

Do you mean if? From my understanding it seems we won't get SOtS at all.Comment

Re: No Sounds of the Show in PS4 MLB 15
Unless it is removed,SoTS is in mlb15 going by there last stream.Of course it isn't the SoTS we want and most likely the same as last year where we can only use the soundtrack music.Don't think they would have a tile in the menu that has no function.Comment

Re: No Sounds of the Show in PS4 MLB 15
Rumor around the inter-webs is that the PS4 is going to receive a "major" firmware update on or around March 29 (article here: http://tinyurl.com/p5vawey). No details as to what functionality might be added yet, but does this mean there's still a shred of hope for SoTS on PS4 in MLB 15?!? It's probably just wishful thinking this close to release date but I refuse to give up hope yet (please don't force me to play on PS3 yet again this year Sony, I'm begging you).
I vaguely recall that when this issue was discussed last year, something like that the SoTS framework is already in the PS4 version and theoretically will work once the PS4 media functionality returns to the current decade. Not sure if any of this is based in reality, but I have faith it can still happen. We've put Rovers on Mars for goodness sakes, this old school SoTS stuff has to be within our grasp.

Re: No Sounds of the Show in PS4 MLB 15
I've been trying to update my roster for MLB 14 the show and so far none of the rosters I've uploaded have Pablo Sandoval or Garin Checchini on the Red Sox rosters. I'm sure other teams are wrong as well, any recommendations?Comment

Re: No Sounds of the Show in PS4 MLB 15
I think you posted in the wrong thread. This is a discussion about the Sounds of The Show feature on PS4 (or lack there of). Otherwise this is the oddest follow-up to my post above that I could imagine."There are only two seasons—winter and baseball." - Bill VeeckComment
