Tom Terrific! Great Choice for the Mets. Would have loved to see Piazza but with him being withheld from the HoF still, Seaver is the right guy. hopefully next year for PiazzaComment

He is the Red Sox legend. You can see all 30 in the video linked below

Finley is a solid choice. Despite being on a lot of teams, I would have picked Randy Johnson for Arizona.Comment

Re: Legends of the Show 15...
It would be dope if we can start a RTTS with a Legend. I know some of us have made legends in RTTS but it would be cool if I can just use Will Clark instead of trying to create him. Not sure if that's been discussed yet or not

Re: Legends of the Show 15...
I wonder what the ratings will look like for these guys? Hard to imagine them all being 99s. I mean, Steve Finley for the Dbacks? Cliff Floyd? These are mid 80s talents at best....right?
Hopefully they don't crank these guys ratings up just simply because they are legends. Will Clark for example. What's he? 91? 92? 93?
Even Nolan Ryan - he has great counting stats due to his longevity and certainly had some dominant years, but never won a Cy Young . I suppose it depends on if they model the players on one peak year, or three peak years, or a career?
Thoughts?
For example, Ted Williams. Best hitter who ever lived, and sure, you have to pretty much max out his ratings, but even if you do that, he's going to play up to standards with today's players. Which means instead of OBPing close to .500 every year, like he oft did, he's going to be a little above the .400 line at best.
I think that's fine, but there are going to be people who complain, saying that the Legends aren't playing like the Legends should, even though they don't take into account the era difference, and how the game has changed since their chosen legend retired.
I'm very glad that they didn't put in guys like Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, etc. Because trying to pinpoint actual ratings for them would just be silly, given the baseball they played is very very different from the one we play now.
I still can't wait to try out the legends (can't wait to go at it with Teddy Ballgame), but the ratings (as with all sports games, even modern players) are always going to leave a sore spot with a vocal group of people, because either they are too high, or too low. Nobody ever seems to think the ratings are "just right".
I'm so excited for the Show.-the least famous person you've never heard of.Comment

While we're on this, it should be noted that baseball has changed a lot since a lot of these players retired.

Re: Legends of the Show 15...
Sad to not see ken Griffey jr. Also the yogi berra Yankees pick seems rather dull.. Heck I would of took jeter as a Yankees legend, or even someone like bernie. Other teams picks seem good though. Will they release new legendaries later or probably not until mlb 16?MLB-NYY
