I want to hear more about the uniform upgrades Russell hinted at. I think he was referring to higher resolution uniform models. Is anyone else thinking the same?

What I'd really like to see is the shimmer material used for scripts and numbers instead of the flat waxy material texture in the show at present.

I was just going to ask this. They are pretty similar to the black spring training jerseys that are already in the game so I feel like it should be pretty easy to do. Just take that black jersey and throw the SF from the Road Alternate jersey and add the sleeve patch and bam that's the jersey.

I like these too but I also liked the Orange ones. The Giants will still wear the Orange ones on Friday home games. They will wear these on select home games. They haven't given out a pattern yet on when they will wear these

With two home alternates I am guessing either these or the orange ones will get left out. Unless they replace the gray alternate with SF on it with one of them.

I don't know what uniform would be left out if the blacks made it in. The Giants wore both their alternate grays and oranges thirteen times each (and went 7-6 each time). It also depends if SCEA got the black jerseys in time or if the were an official part of the Giants' rotation when the time to get uniforms in was up.

Off topic: Those black uniforms are awful. Just like the Angels' reds, having the same color on color is terrible looking.

That's true' but they have a history of head scratchers with uniforms. Such as leaving out the Rays Sunday jerseys and putting in throwback jerseys that are worn once a year. Wouldn't surprise me to get the camo as home alternate and have the blue one with New York on the front the only blue one. I dont understand why they waste slots on throwback jerseys that are rarely worn and leave out current uniforms anyway.

I could live without the Mets "old" throwback uniforms. All they are is their current home and away uniforms without the names on the back.

i would LOVE if they included the Padres 1998 pinstripe uniforms, those are my favorite of all time.

How would you feel if they got rid of all the 1900s type uniforms (old timers) to put more like these alternates in?

I would be good with it because it isnt like there are old time stadiums to play in anyway.

Not sure if you've seen the players wear them but they look much better on. There's a vine of Panik wearing all the jerseys they will wear this year and the black looks much better than it did in the picture

I actually did see those photos of Panik and Crawford. I don't think the jerseys are bad or anything. I just find the Orange (almost red) piping lines to be a little intense and distracting. Plus I'm a sucker for the full "GIANTS" wording on the front of jerseys. The only exception are the gray "SF" away jerseys which may be my favorite out of all of their uniforms.
