Re: MLB 15 The Show (Community Day Gameplay Q&A Thread)
Can any of you CD guys talk about RTTS gameplay? Did you see a lot of bunting in bad situations by the cpu AI? Not sure if that was a problem in franchise games or not, but it was a mess in RTTS. Also not sure if the user saw these bad bunting situation if they played an outfield position, but it was very apparent when you control an infielder.
What about AI baserunning? Has that improved? I don't know if it was slow baserunning, strong/accurate outfielder arms, or bad 3rd base coach AI, but there were too many runners gunned down at home in my opinion in RTTS when the AI was controlling the baserunners.

I have searched the forums and web but haven't found anything definite about Playstation move. Last year Russell said the PS Move was a maybe for 2015. http://www.operationsports.com/forum...&postcount=997
Was the team able to include the feature this year?Comment

I guess this is a general gameplay (all modes) question, but yes, they were still tuning some things while we were there last. I did point these out as an issue in MLB 14, and a lot of it had already been alleviated due to the fielding and baserunning tune-up (the sliding animations helped majorly). It was definitely actively being touched, as one build we played, the CPU runners were super (dangerously aggressive), but it was fixed the next day. What was happening was, the CPU runners were taking advantage of the toned-down fielders. Things worked out a lot better from that build on, from what I observed. That said, you should notice a difference right away in MLB15.Comment

Re: MLB 15 The Show (Community Day Gameplay Q&A Thread)
I know exactly what you are talking about, and I didn't see anything too crazy, like I had in MLB14 (I'm usually a 3B in RTTS). I think it was an issue with AI in all modes, to be honest. From initial exposure, I think the situational hitting/bunting is improved. No more 3/4 hitters trying to sacrifice the runner over, or slow-ish players trying to drag for a hit. For the most-part, bunting happened with players you'd expect, and in situations you'd expect... I think I only saw one popped up bunt as a result. I think in previous years, the situation took precedence over who the batter was.

I've been trying to find this out for a Longggg time.. You would think this would be no problem to fit this BACK into the game on next Gen since they've mastered it on ps3.. They make MILLIONS off these games.. The technological age we are in.. I mean I'm tired of sitting on my butt pushing a button at the right time to hit or pitch... Let me step up to the mound and the plate and PLAY!! This is Next Gen!! That should have been reason enough to MAKE TIME to fit this into the ps4 version.. Plain and simple..

Hey Nem, I take it at CD, you tried the Zone plus.... and if you did, it works just like before, only with the new swing mechanic? (up is normal, side is contact, full is power, or whatever it is)... Or is that left unchanged where it's always full swing? (Sorry if you already answered this)..“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment
