        Re: help

Just a little add i think would be nice for the edit/create player section, is when your selecting bating stances if there could be a batters boxed laid out under the player. You can have a better feel for how the stance will look once in game. I know you can move the camera around but sometimes a closed/open stance looks diff once in game if i don't get the camera angle just right..just a thought

Is there any talk about adding multiple mitt options for players in the editor?

Example: a utility player would need 3 different gloves 1B/OF would need 2 gloves etc......

Also how about home/road equipment options in the editor in the future? That would work for things such as mitts, batting gloves, cleats, catchers gear etc.......

Home and away equipment are on the list but we first have to solve the memory issue that comes with doing that.

Thanks for the reply again Ramone. Glad to see it's on the list for sometime down the road if memory issues are solved.

In the equipment stream I asked Luis and he implied sooner than later. Sony engineers need to hurry up and shrink the OS overhead, maybe we'll see some RAM cleared up in the next major firmware update (which is supposedly coming soon.)

Hey Ramone, for people like myself (probably a majority) who don't really know much about how much space things take up on a game, and think there is probably SOO much room available on the PS4 still(when apparently there really isn't), can you tell us how much space is actually available on the PS4 and what number The Show is at? That way we have a better understanding of really what you guys are working with?

PS4 has 8GB GDDR5 RAM but the OS supposedly takes up 3GB (last I heard, that was almost a year ago). That leaves 5 GB for games, which will only increase as the OS overhead shrinks (which is a very common occurrence). IIRC the PS3 had 512 MB of split RAM and I think the OS overhead went from 120MB to eventually 50MB, so it really is quite amazing how many good looking (at the time I guess lol) games the system had.

I do think PS4 has a lot of untapped potential when it comes to The Show. The RAM has at least 10 times the power of the PS3. I know the 1080p certainly takes a chunk out of that but it doesn't seem like the PS4 has that much more going on at once. It's got to be an issue of optimization.

I read this entire post with OS being Op Sports... it wasn't until the end and it not making sense I realized it meant Oper. System. LOL

Not a huge issue but just thought about it after seeing David Ortiz with some of his bats, but will we have more color tape options for bat handles? You know since now that we have those beautiful neon options. :-)

Might not be around to catch the stream so it might take a little longer to get up on YouTube this time.

Did they fix the Chicago White Sox Sunday alternate? Also the Brewers throwback alternate? They've been wrong the last few years.

The batting helmet and cleats (when set to team color) are wrong.
                                Should look like this

For the Brewers the undershirt color should look like this. In the show they are still navy blue (when using compression sleeve set at team color 1) and looks odd. Same goes for the cleats when using team colors.
