Re: MLB 15 The Show Player Rating Predictions

I'd love to guess but they already showed most of the O's ratings during their Diamond Dynasty stream.

I will say I thought most of the ratings looked pretty good. If I had guessed before seeing them, I would've thought Machado to be higher than 83 (I think that's what he was shown as). Maybe Adam Jones could've been in the 90s, but he needs to work on that Plate Discipline for sure!

I also think just going off memory of last year your ratings for the Braves look pretty spot on. Maybe Freddie Freeman a little bit higher?

Pretty sure Kershaw will still be a 99. The guy went 21-3 (Cy Young/MVP). I can see MadBum being a 99 idk if he'll get that, but it wouldn't shock me if he did.

Yeah I was just joking, Giants fan here.

Kershaw should get a 100 rating when ever he faces the Giants.

Ahhhhhh okay I wasn't sure. Either way though I wouldn't be surprised if MadBum did get a 99 rating. He'll definitely be close to it.

That was my one question...what will MadBum be. Will they give him the proper respect he's due and have him up there or are they going to give him like a 93? We pretty much know the rest of the Giants stats. Personally think Belt should be a little higher. Feel like they don't give him enough credit on defense. I personally think he's a future Gold Glover.

I'd be interested to see where Verlander is ranked, considering his awful season last year. Here are my best guesses, although in the past relievers have been rated lower across the board than I would have them.

                      Pitchers

Not to say that Ubaldo Jiminez is or ever has been that comparable to Verlander, but he's a 69 overall on MLB 15 I believe. He was an 81 I think last year, so you might expect a little bigger of a dip for Verlander than an 86

I don't remember if it was The Show, but I remember hearing that some sports franchise used ratings averaged from the past 3 seasons. If that indeed is the case with The Show, 86 would be more justifiable, but based on Ubaldo's 69 perhaps a 78/79 would be more in line for Verlander.

                              He's a 74 overall.
