What are all of my fellow Yankees fans planning on doing with the big pink elephant in the room, AKA ARod this year? Keep him, trade him, release him, bench him? I'm going to give him a chance in spring training. If he does terrible, I may try to move him or just release him.

I'm going to continue my Pirates franchise. I'll finish Season 1 in the next couple weeks and then I'll be ready for a new game to start the new season.

I'm definitely not winning the WS this year but a WC birth will make me happy...3-way tie for 2nd WC spot right now.

I will be the Yanks as always and will also have a Cubs franchise going that I don't play as often. I usually do a fantasy draft franchise as well. I am kind of excited that the Yankees have issues this year.

I have an issue though. I like following the team in real life in my franchises and developing from within. I feel weird signing big name free agents that I don't think the Yankees would go after. I feel like I will finally have to get away from that and sign some guys based on need and the fact that we need to get younger.

I would love to be able to develop a "core four" like previously stated. And as for A-roid, he needs to go. However, the Yanks won't/can't do that in real life. So I am thinking that I will play him this year as DH, and coming off the bench when needed. Then after that he will probably regress so much that I will just bury him in single A for the next two years until he retires.

Like I said, with year-to-year saves, it's going to make me do things I normally don't do - such as actually play spring training lol, rule 5, etc ...(yea I skipped a ton of stuff haha)

I will give Alex a shot in ST. He won't need to impress me a whole ton as he'll be the primary DH, but he needs to do well, period. I'll give him till the AllStarBreak to make a final decision. If his average is below .275 come the mid summer classic, then I'll look to trade him. If no team wants to take on the contract, I'll release him and eat the money.

Shoot....I usually go total insane and turn budgets off ...might go full sim this year haha

Who won't I be? At some point I will play with all but 4 teams:
Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies & Dodgers. But for my franchise, if all goes well with carry-over saves,
then I'll push the Braves further than I ever have before.

There's no such thing as a big name free agent the Yankees wouldn't go after.

Im in year 4 with Houston and won the WS in year 3. I will also be in year 2 with the cards so I will just continue both of those.
