Just curious - are you basing this on what you see during the actual game or what you see on the post-game load screen? Because that screen was definitely a text bug where the game was counting many more pitches than actually happened (and what was being recorded in game). That post-game screen is the only place where you'll see a number that big (I saw as high as 180 sometimes on a CG).

In-game, I don't think the pitch count is exaggerated much at all. It gets bloated a bit due to all the 2-strike foul balls, but it's not that bad.

I do hope they fixed that post game text bug, of course.

Im sure a lot of people like it cause they don't have all the time in the world to play cause of work and family, so it helps them finish seasons, and not have to sim games to do.[/quote]

I'll sim quite a few games. I only play a few series in a given season anyway so, for me, there really is no point in using quick counts. But I understand where you're coming from.

FYI: This is just a comment; it takes me half an hour to do a full game I turn off quick counts and turn on fast play.

ya the post game pitch count is way off! I think the pitch counts during the game are just fine tho but one thing that kind of irritated me is when u make an out it doesnt count that pitch on the tracker.

I was a fan of quick counts and still am. Nothing like getting a game in before work. Only flaw for me was a lot of the trophies required full game and or player specific and I only really play with the Yankees or my road to show player, using quick counts. So therefor I played a ton of 14 but only have 4-5% trophies because they won't be achievable with quick counts.

being a free swinger i wanted to earn the trophy for not striking out once in a game... i did it.. but no ding and box saying ive earned it... i double checked my box score.. nope.. not a single strike out recorded on my side of the scorecard.

well then i read the trophy recap and found out like many others... that you cant earn them while using quick counts... that blows!!!! i feel that i am just as good or bad using quick counts than i am with out it... so i hope that in 16 this will be fixed... cause i am never going to play a single game without QC on ever again... i love this feature...

I'm not sure it's something to "fix", as it was done by design. Anyway, there should be a mix of trophies in 16, some (performing certain in-game tasks, e.g. *rob a HR*) will not require QC to be off. Others (like full game accolades, e.g. *pitch a perfect game*) will require you to perform them with QC off.

Those are just examples, btw; not intended to reflect actual trophies in MLB 16... (lol, that almost sounds like an official MLBAM disclaimer)

Im just like you, I wont ever not use QC's again, I love the option, wish it had been in a few years back. Being that Im OCD about stats, using QC's helps me draw walks, so my team has realistic # of walks in a season, and I can have Votto at or near the top in drawing walks, until last yr I was never able to do that. Plus I have always refused to X thru cutscence, so my games would be basically as long as real games it seemed. This also helps get thru more games per day, and more seasons before the next yrs game comes out, cause even though every year I think Im going to keep this game, and get deep into my franchise, I never do it cause MLBTS is always improved upon each yr and I give in. With the 2 other games I play Madden and NBA2k that's not always the case, but MLBTS devs don't ever seem to let me down.

I love the QC option. It makes the game go by faster, puts you in different situations and think baseball. If I playing without QC I swing at everything a day throw 95% of my pitches are strikes.
