re: Who's got it? When and Where? Official Thread.
I paid $130 for MLB 13 to get it about 4-5 days early through ebay. I got MLB 14 about 5 days early last year at regular price from a mom & pop shop. I'm not bothering searching around this year. I pre-ordered the Anniversary Edition and I don't need to be as impatient as I have been in years past.Comment

That's probably where he lives. Just ask to meet in a public place like a mall or a Starbucks or some ****.Comment

No game or object is worth risking your life for. Always meet in a public place and never go alone.Comment

Be safe, man. Everyone should really take caution with these types of things. Just this month I was on the USF campus talking to a kid who was about to fly up to Atlanta to attend his friend's funeral. Kid was jumped as he was meeting someone that he had arranged to buy a cell phone that he saw listed on craigslist. Can't recall if he was shot or stabbed, but he managed to escape the scene but crashed his car into a tree just down the street. Died shortly thereafter.

If you are that unsure, then you shouldn't risk it. There have been too many incidents lately related to people meeting strangers to pick up things. It's not worth possibly getting hurt or even worse.
Just wait and know you won't have any worries picking it up the normal way.Comment

Sure there is a chance its stolen. But there arent many opportunities to steal it. You have to work at UPS/FedEx or whoever does your shipping up there. Or work at the store that will be selling the game. All of which you will lose your job if caught. And if you work for the shipping company you can guarantee someone will find out when the store gets their shipment missing copies of the game.Comment

Just refuse to meet anywhere other than inside a public place. If he wont go for that then id say its not worth it.Comment

Not nearly enough information on there for me to even consider it. Regardless, I don't think I would ever pick up a game this way anyway unless I was 100% sure it was safe.Comment

It shows up in Toronto quite often. I believe some people from the GTA are usually among the first to get it early.Comment
