Hey anyone else finding that the cpu swings at too many first pitches?
Also for anyone pitching on analog have u noticed how u don't walk the cpu ? I find I have way too much control even on high difficulty. In 3 games I've walked 1 batter

Right, I was wondering specifically with this shoe, the Nike Air Max MVP Elite, if we were able to edit those specific parts of the shoe. One thing in NBA 2k that I always noticed was that the shoe editing parts didn't always match up and you couldn't always create realistic colorways. Although this year I had the most fun I've ever had editing shoes. Hoping for a similar experience with this game as well

Most of the brand name shoes you can only edit the colors on a few parts. Most are greyed out so you can't. As for those shoes in particular I'm not sure but I don't think you can edit every part.

I think zone in theory is the hardest way to hit. I use it because I feel like its the most realistic but you really have to look for certain pitches and locations to be successful. Once you do get it though it's rewarding as hell.

It is not in the game. only replay vault and movie maker.

I don't have the game but I know there is no more stride for Pure Analog. And they've added Directional hitting. You move the left stick to influence where you want the ball to go.

Guys with the game will have to let you know how it all feels though

Not a huge fan of pure analog this year. I'm still going to use it but I liked last year's better. Now you just hit up left or right to contact swing. Down up to power swing and you don't have to time your stride at all. i basically just power swing at everything and have had good results with not too many homers.

I have 2 questions...

1. Does Aaron Sanchez have his own windup? If not what does he use?
2. Are the Blue Jays red Canada Day jerseys in the game?

1. No he uses veteran windup 8
2. No they aren't.

Side note sanchez and stroman both have face scans this year and they are spectacular.

Unless you have 2 strikes, you're probably going to want to not swing unless the pitch is where you're influencing your hit. So if you're "aiming" to RF, don't swing unless it's on that side of the plate.

With 2 strikes, you might want to just try not influencing it to any direction and just time it well

So if you influence your directional hitting to right field, only hit it if the ball is on the right side of the plate?

no, you will just tend to hit the ball in the direction you are choosing.

The new catcher equipment is sick. Looks absolutely incredible.

I like the neon colors they added as well.

The necklaces look pretty cool. You can choose many different colors but they also included gold and silver as an option and they look fantastic. Only thing I've noticed so far though is that I don't think they equipped anyone with gold or silver as default. Every player with a necklace I've seen by default is either a team color or black. Which is too bad because the necklaces look like they were meant to be gold or silver. it's going to be a headache to manually change them all.

I'm trying not to harp on this but something is up with day games for me. I posted earlier that the catchers sleeves went all wonky after I selected a pitch
That game was a day game. I've played 4 night games after that with no issue and now another day game. I took russell Martins 3/4 sleeves off so I wouldn't have that issue and it did clear that up. Now though the back of stroman's jersey gets all screwed up mostly around his shoulders and armpit area but it's only after you select a pitch. It's weird you can see the whole screen kinda change in a milisecond Right when you select a pitch. The first photo is before I select a pitch and the second is right after. It might not look like much because I took a picture of my tv with my phone but it's big time noticeable while I'm playing. Anyone else noticing that at all?

At the end of the day it's not a huge deal. I mean the game is incredible. I'm not trying to nitpick it just really is quite noticeable and no one else seems to be reporting the issue so I'm wondering if it's to do with something else maybe.

Edit. I was trying to pay closer attention and that milisecond hiccup I was talking about seems like it's the resolution changing right when I pick a pitch. In the top picture you can see the grass has texture and detail but then in the bottom picture it's all flat. what I'm thinking is a milisecond hiccup is actually the grass changing texture.
