Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Can someone please help me, I don't remember seeing an option to change this last year, but is there anyway to turn off the post pitch location indicator that shows what pitch type was just thrown? You know, the circle that pops up showing fastball, Change, etc, after the pitch?
To me it is annoying and takes away the effect of the ball going into the catcher's glove. I hate it. Anyway to disable it? ThanksLast edited by Cman9; 03-29-2015, 11:19 PM.Comment

Is anyone having troubles with hitting I can't hit for nothing and I'm not understanding the directional hitting. Are you supposed to hold it then swing or pick a direction right when the ball comes at uComment

You can pick the direction well before the pitcher starts his windup.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Directional hitting does have an affect on results.
Example: If you're trying to pull a ball and the pitcher throws the ball low/high and away you're probably not going to get a good result. Same goes if you're trying to hit the ball the other way and the pitcher throws inside. Probably not going to hit it the other way.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Do player defensive attributes play more of a noticeable difference in the outcome of fielding results this year?.....Other than speed, I never really saw much of a relationship or correlation between fielder ratings range, fielding, reaction and the outcomes on the field in previous versions of the game
There really was no difference between a Shawn Dunston, Ryan Sandberg, Ozzie Smith, Jose Reyes, and a Daniel Murphy in the fielding results playing out in real time!!
I hope this has improved
Also, Every ball hit to the outfield had outfielders jog to get to the balls....are there different variations now in outfield track downs of fly balls???
Any differences in the feel of Hitting?Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
No problems whatsoever. I have my digital version completely downloaded already. Going along with past pre-loadable games on PS4, there will be no problems with it being available at exactly 12:00am TuesdayComment

I dont have '15 yet but in '14, you could turn this info off in the gameplay options menu under the pitching callout setting. Options are full, simple, or off. I play with off to have more of a clean screen.
Im sure the options will be the same in '15 as well.Comment

With 2 strikes, you might want to just try not influencing it to any direction and just time it wellComment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
They would have to take the time to make a couple different schedules to rotate in (And with the Astros moving leagues a couple years back they couldn't easily just copy old schedules as future schedules). I doubt it'd be that time consuming of a thing for them to do though.Comment
