Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Originally posted by nemesis04Yes you can, set your hitting to zone and your input option to analog. If you set it to timing, it allows you to do directional hitting if you choose.
What you are describing is not Pure Analog.
It is changing the hitting to either zone or directional and using the right stick to swing which with these 2 interfaces allow you to move the pci.
Pure Analog is a stand alone interface that just uses the right stick to swing and your success depends entirely on your timing and does not allow you move the pci.Comment

How is the feel of pure analog now that it's changed to just pushing the stick forward? I'm thinking of switching to buttons bc of the change.Comment

We seem to be going round in circles here!

Will someone post a close up pic of Chris Taylor for Seattle? I'd really appreciate it!Creator of the most realistic draft classes on NBA 2K

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
One thing I hope they do look at for future versions are injuries to pitchers.
While hitting them does seem to be toned down, when they do get hit not to see them go off injured is somewhat disappointing.
I just damn near tore Matt Shoemakers pitching arm off with a line drive which had it happened in real life would have put him out indefinitely, but instead he chased the loose ball and fired a rocket to first base...iI suppose I should be thankful I beat out the throw..:wink:Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Does anyone know if the Pirates players will do the Zoltan "Z" when getting an extra base hit?
As well I didn't get last years game but in 13 when you traded for a player or signed him in FA his real life picture would change to a computer generated one, is this still the case?Comment

Yes, they generate a computer pic for players that change teams in the game still.
Is that a Jiri Slegr reference, by chance? Or, perhaps you are Jiri Slegr, ha.Comment

I would assume though that striding is entirely removed, isn't it?
Also, the traditional Pure Analog allowed the horizontal movement of PCI by R2 stick (as you push up, you can push toward left or right to move PCI just horizontally). If the option is still there, does the PCI move like that?
(If Pure Analog option is still there in the setting, it sure sounds a bit confusing... though I'd be delighted to still have the option.)Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
We saw the black alts on a stream already...they still have the black helmet...I assume the orange will too. They have to do it that way because the Orioles wear both alternates at home and on the road. So if they put the white panel helmet with the Alternates for home they would also end up with the white panel helmets on the road. Either one of them will be wrong.
Orange is white. Improvement!

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Wait, so does this mean there is still a separate hitting method for Pure Analog in MLB 15? I remember there still was an option during the CD event, but I was assuming that was to be removed.

Hitting Interfaces:
* Zone
* Directional
* Pure Analog
Input Types
* Buttons
* Analog
When you choose Pure Analog, the input types, PCI, PCI Appearance, and Camera shift options are locked.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
