Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Wait, so does this mean there is still a separate hitting method for Pure Analog in MLB 15? I remember there still was an option during the CD event, but I was assuming that was to be removed.
I would assume though that striding is entirely removed, isn't it?
Also, the traditional Pure Analog allowed the horizontal movement of PCI by R2 stick (as you push up, you can push toward left or right to move PCI just horizontally). If the option is still there, does the PCI move like that?
(If Pure Analog option is still there in the setting, it sure sounds a bit confusing... though I'd be delighted to still have the option.)“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
If this has been asked and answered I apologize. I searched the thread but didn't see it answered or asked so here goes. I know in carry over saves retired players and players who were in 14 but didn't play in the MLB last year are removed but do the face scans for last years created players work as expected? For example, does SCEA created Mike Olt now have are player portrait/face scan, etc. Thanks in advance.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
It's not what your thinking Nomo, it is just the newer analog style minus the directional option. To me the pure analog option is not even needed because you can basically perform the same function with the directionl hitting option by not touching the left stick. Also giving the option the same name as the old system just confuses the situation.
Yeah, I was confused because all this time the concept of (original) Pure Analog is removed (meaning, striding and the horizontal PCI movement). I was going to ask there is any difference between Directional + Analog without L2 and the (new) Pure Analog, but if things are laid out the way you describe, it is only confusing.
I was wondering perhaps SDS added back the old Pure Analog after seeing how some guys were weeping over the loss of the option like they have lost their puppies...
Thanks countryboy also for the breakdown of the menu items.Last edited by nomo17k; 03-28-2015, 08:40 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Yes.
It is just under the interface of directional or pure analog.
Directional is timing as you know it except with the addition of choosing if you want to aim to LF or RF with the left stick. Available with buttons or the right stick to hit.
Pure analog is timing only using the right stick to swing.Comment

Is there a search option in the roster or player vault? Would make looking for a specific roster so much easier.Comment
