Is this your way of telling us this can be done? Or are we SOL?

I asked Russell about the beards for Pedroia and Napoli a few weeks ago and he replied that it was to late so I assume it's the same for Cutch. Unless they knew about it ahead of time.

Good for Cutch trying something new, and helping charity at the same time!

If they use someone that is editable with close enough service time he wouldn't be ROY. His stats would obviously be incorrect, but if you go deep into franchise mode that could all easily be made up in time.

                I understand your point though.

I learn something new about the Show all the time; I never knew there were players with service time where you could edit their names & age.

LOL yeah anytime the Show adds a players during weekly roster updates and they add a guy that was in previous MLB the Show games will have his service time and he is editable. SCEA throws us a bone too with the Release day roster update they usually have a few fake minor leaguers that have service time which helps.

Perhaps by the time McCutchen's new shorter hair make it into the game, he will have grown back his locks (assume he does grow them back). How many other players will be like this? I am curious to see if Rockies center fielder Charlie Blackmon is sporting a beard in the game this year. If I am not mistaken he's been a fury face for several years now, but at least in MLB 14 he was still sporting the same clean shaven baby face he had when he broke into the league. Sometimes you just have to ignore the fact that the player's likeness in the game may not always reflect how they look in the real world.

2k did a few face scan patches and hairstyle updates in patches this year. The Show has much better developers IMO and I'm sure they can do it.

Flyers4208 played against the Rockies last night. Blackmon doesn't have that thick beard he has in real life. I honestly can't remember if he had facial hair or not in the game, but I know for sure no thick beard.

Yeah, I see the beards are still off for some players. Jonny Gomes is known to have pretty thick beard but looks like he got a stubble this year. I'm hoping they at least got rid of Rasmus and Adam Jones' fake beards. I do know Navarro is now clean shaven like he was most of the year last year. So I'm sure this year will be the same as the other years, some players will be off with facial hairs. I do hope they fix most of the Red Sox from 2 years ago as most of the beards are gone.

And as for Cutch, I doubt he will have new hairdo in game but yeah he looks much cleaner without the dreadlocks. Will be weird watching him play without all the hair.

I saw this on MLB Network and was surprised he did that, but it is for a good cause, so congrats to him for doing it. He actually looks like a man now, lol. Being a Reds fan I hope he is like Sampson and cutting his hair zaps all his power, lol.

See part of me feels that his new haircut won't make it into the game but the other part feels that Cutch has been a big face for the Show for a couple years so they'll make sure he's updated.
