New pitch trajectories
I know they said they changed the pitch trajectories and how they move for 15 in order to be able to recognize pitches easier, but I'm not sure I like it. I swung at and missed SO MANY outside sliders over my 2 games I've played that I used to lay off in 14. I actually dont recognize pitches that easily anymore. Fastballs creep on me faster, changeups fool the hell out me, and again sliders are insane. Not complaining, I will get used to it, just wanted to share my .02Anyone else having trouble?

Re: New pitch trajectories
I didn't always recognize previous years pitches, unless it was a fastball or knuckleball. In the one game I played, I recognized more pitches than ever before, but usually it was after the catcher caught the pitch.
I'm liking this so far & will probably love it once I recognize all pitches immediately.T-BONE.

Re: New pitch trajectories
I only played one game, but I too got fooled silly by a lot of change ups. But I feel like that might have been because I faced Tanaka. Also, I feel like they slowed down pitch speed all together. I had to bump it up 2 notches. Small sample size, but maybe change the camera angleComment

Re: New pitch trajectories
I hit pretty well my first game of my franchise which I brought over from the 2014 version of the Show, which gave me a lot of confidence. Next game I faced Dickey and it was basically like taking one step forward followed by five steps backComment

Re: New pitch trajectories
Try Catcher 2 cam. I had the same issues, but as soon as I changed this I was good to go.Comment

Re: New pitch trajectories
I'm really feeling the new trajectories. I don't know what it is, but I'm seeing pitches better than ever. It might be the that the speed's been slightly adjusted, but I have a better sense of depth, too. I don't get fooled by offspeed or low changeups nearly the way I used to."A man can only be beaten in two ways: if he gives up, or if he dies."Comment

Re: New pitch trajectories
Earlier in a game I was getting fooled bad by the change up. I've been playing last years version almost daily for the last couple months leading up to this and I was pretty consistent in my timing. Today I was late on FB's and way early on CH's. It will take some getting used to, but I'm happy to see some significant speed variety.Comment

Re: New pitch trajectories
I like it so far. I think the pitches look great. I like the fact that sliders and cutters and splitters that are suppose to look like fastballs and then break at the last second actually do that.
I thought in past versions of the show pitches were easy to read, but now not so much. The look more real now to me.Comment

Re: New pitch trajectories
I'm getting used to it now... I've actually hit HoF difficulty with dynamic settings, so I can't be too bad. lol.Comment
