Alright this is starting to get frustrating. I'm now 10-10 in diamond dynasty because 8 times my game has lost connection after the first out. There's no lag or anything during the play, it's all smooth but then I lose connection. I'm using a wired connection. My team should be 10-2 and now my rating is starting to go lower.

What does it say? Does the entire game freeze and you have to restart or does it say lost connection to opponent?

I've played around 20 games online and have been home for every game. I haven't started games in lobby, just click play online ranked where it matches me with someone.

Do I have anyway of switching myself to be the away team or color of my uniforms?

I'm deep in to diamond dynasty now and still haven't had any lag issues. Seems like guys are either getting perfect games or just straight up disconnects

I'm not impressed. Nice new colors, graphics and some of the bug issues are fixed (defense, running etc) but still game freezes, anyone who says there aren't freezes are lying. I've played 8 games and had 2 freeze. Also everyone is experiencing "connection failed" online head to head in Game rooms, you go to challenge someone and you accept but it sits for like 30 seconds then says "Failed" vice versa if someone challenges you and you accept it won't connect on the first shot the two of you have to try 3-4 times before the connection works.

How do you have co-op online in 2012,13 then take it away?? pretty sad when most other sports games have it.........San Diego studios is has crapped the bed with the online portion of this game. Its like taking a crappy car and putting new paint on it.......new uniforms, graphics etc but still a crappy car under the new paint. I can't believe how crappy the Devs are with this online? It's the year 2015 and this is PS4. I feel ripped off.

Gameplay is better..but 6 of my last 9 games I've been disconnected. League games. So I no the opponent didn't pull the plug or anything like that. Disheartening to say the least. Hope there is a patch.

Connection lost, press X to return to lobby. Get back to the menu and it records a loss for me. Always after the first out. Just happened again this is the 9th loss I've gotten because of it. This is in Diamond Dynasty

I just played online for the first time, and l have a wired connection, good solid connection, and my experience was terrible. I'm sorry to say, but I would see a ball get through the infield, but then the guy would field it 2 seconds later, and throw me out. Same thing when I hit a ball in the outfield base hit it looks like a double, but some how the other team fielded it and throws me out, and then I got the crash about 5th inning. I tried to friendly quit because it was torture to play like that, and of course the guy I was playing wouldn't quit. Oh well, it crashed on us anyway.

Please, next year let us just play our diamond dynasty offline in regular franchise mode, what a waste this is, I'm sorry for my rant, just my experience.

Maybe it was his connection? I've been using wifi and haven't had problems like that.

I first want to say I love all the little things about MLB THE SHOW and I applaud the SCEA team on the great job they did this year with MLB 15. This is not a personal attack on any developers or SCEA.

I like seeing batter walkups, Homeruns, pitching matchups at the beginning of the game, defensive lineups, the next 3 batters up with the 3 little photos, dugouts with showing managers etc

Now I also want to add I only buy this game to play online and run a successful online franchise. I noticed right away when creating my online franchise this year that FAST PLAY is the only option we have as it was locked. So my first thought was well maybe it was not meant to be locked. So I contact the developers I know on shownation and they have confirmed that all online games will use FAST PLAY this year.

Now dont get me wrong I understand why they did this for online games the same thing in 2008 that another MLB game the developers did the same thing and you got no presentation online either and killed the online experience for a lot of us then you had no idea who you were pitching to. I am not saying the MLB 15 THE SHOW is this way we do see the display of who the batter is but all the "little things have been removed due to FAST PLAY and I just feel like I paid for half of a game right now. I cant begin to tell you how disappointed I am that they did this.

Again I understand why they chose to do this for online games mainly rank matches, regular lobby games but to lock it down for online franchise just does not make any sense to me it should be our option to have fast play on or off as I never thought the games in OF had any major issues, I had no lag or glitches with previous show titles in OF.

I am just wanting to see what everyone else thinks and vote on the POLL please. I mean no close play challenge, you dont see any long foul ball complete, the HR challenge of the umpires is gone as well in FAST PLAY. I love those close games 2-2, 1-1 and even 0-0 in bottom of 9th you hit a walkoff or even in extra innings to see the team celebrate at home when this is done and to enjoy your guys running the bases is exciting to me and in FAST PLAY all this is taken away from us.

After playing my first initial 5 games with no lag.....I have played 6 more games online (all Diamond Dynasty)....5 were smooth and lag less and 1 was laggy but playable.....

I am wired and running on a gigabit switch to my fios router...Open type 2 NAT....

Played one game last nite. Was like playing offline not a single slowdown or glitch. Hardwired of course.
