I've played 6 games so far, all 6 have been disconnected, (2 by other, 4 by me.) Funny how my wifi connection only disconnects when I am playing online in MLB and never signs me out while playing franchise. Total of 1 run scored, disconnected with bases loaded double however.

i love playing online but the freeze issues with a walk batter or hit by pitch then freeze stuff and the blue screen error and last which is the worse the warping is ridiculous it's really bad it's making me wanna give up on this online play

Same here.. Online is where its at for me but the disconnects have become too much for me. I'm taking a break until the first patch comes out. Fingers are crossed that they come up with a fix.

I got two losses where I was winning late because it froze and I quit instead of the pointless waiting forever to see who disconnected first.

if you finally get connected to someone....I've played about 12 games online and maybe only 3 games have been good experiences. The rest is full of lag and bugs. The commentary, the movement of players in the field is completely out of sync. The commentary will say i'm safe, then suddenly I'm out and vice versa. The base running is uncontrollable, my guys keep running or don't run at all even though I'm pushing all the right buttons. It's a mess!! The only thing that looks to be improved is the hitting/pitching, lag looks to be reduced, but everything else is a mess. Also, I've had a few games where I'm winning then suddenly I get disconnected and take the loss. uggggg

Played two online franchise games last night. First game the only lag that I experienced was the crazy warping/synching in the outfield mess where I thought I had a single to right but he caught it and doubled me up. But once he stopped streaming the game it went away. I thought well maybe streaming was the issue but the second game he streamed again and we had no problems. Both times he streamed on low quality. He was the home team if it matters. We completed two games basically lag free after the initial hiccup.

After my initial comments i kept playing dd and am having little to no issues at this point. I feel like my skill allowed me to move up ranks fast enough to be in a division now where people actually try to play the game right. By right i mean not every pitch is a high fb or a ch in the dirt, i had quite possibly the best online game of my life earlier this week where we went 13 innings and i had 4 mini strokes but managed to pull out the win. Im not 100% convinced because i still see issues but its better and im a happy fan

Played 4 games tonight. 3 were walk/hbp lag outs and the other was a random application close in the 9th. Incredibly frustrating.

Just played a 14-inning DD game, that had no lag at all. Got a couple hbp (not intentional) and some walks, mixed in there too. It was a great played game and there was no funny business. My pause timer was down to :19 so I played the last 2 innings without looking at anything. Luckily, I was able to walk off on a bases loaded single by Ryan Braun.

I guess the one screwy thing was that they counted all 4 runs on the Walk-off, but that was after the fact. Unless the other guy was concerned about his ERA.

Ok, maybe 2 things... there was a play (5th or 6th inning) where I struck him out on a pitch in the dirt, and instead of throwing to first I held the ball to get the runner breaking from 3rd. My catcher didn't apply the tag after I canceled my throw to 1st. He was stuck in a standing position. Other than that, it was smooth sailing. [emoji14]

Played an online franchise game last night, a ranked online game as well as 3 DD games. (went 2-3 grrrrr)

All 4 were as smooth as butter. But yes some bugs need to be worked out on this next patch.

That 2R HR bug is a killer. Dropped 2 strike bug....etc we all know what the bugs are. They do to.

Diamond Dynasty is an absolute obbession for me.

I am new to PS4 and this is the first time I've been able to play The Show. I absolutely love it, best baseball game I've ever played, especially after having been forced to be stuck with the MLB 2K series on the 360.

I love the online play but I've come across a couple bugs and I wanted to see if they are limited to me since they are pretty big bugs.

1. I primarily play as Cleveland. I love how the pitches have an energy meter online and you can't keep reusing the same starter every time you play. The bug I have experienced is I have only been able to use Cory Kluber once. Every time I go to use him his stamina is very low. I've been playing online everyday for a week and have been able to use every other Cleveland starter at least twice. Why is his stamina not refreshing after a few days?

2. I can't do a pitch out online. I am sure I am hitting the right buttons but for some reason when I hit them nothing happens. I was able to do a pitch out the first few days I played online but I haven't been able to for the past 4 days. I am able to do intentional walks though so it's weird.

This has happened twice now so I will share...

When laying down a bunt, my application closes midway through my batter running to first. I am not sure if it is just coincidence or not but I noticed the last two times my application was forced to close it was after a bunt. Please fix this guys, the game is very fun but it becomes very frustrating when you are winning and end up getting the loss because of something silly.

Otherwise, I'm finally impressed with the online in an MLB: The Show game. The network has been as smooth as butter for me in all my online games. Grats to the team for finally producing strong online component of the game.

It's definitely not smooth playable I guess but I have 10 losses do to that horrible walk and hit by pitch bug and the warping is out of control on my screen is something different on there screen and its screwed me over to many time
