Physical Disc Owners... problems getting passed the install game?

I can't get passed the install game. And a couple friends of mine who have the physical disc are having the same problem. Been installing since 10 am est. Its now 12:05 and the green bar is less than a 10th full.

Close the application then re-open it. Report bank in what happens when you do this please.

If the above doesn't work try keeping the app completely closed while downloading and installing the game.

I just closed the game and stayed in the dashboard of the ps4 and it downloaded faster

Mine worked fine in game. Fully installed by the 6th inning. Then it let me exit.

Mine worked fine also. It took about 30'ish minutes to fully install. I was then able to exit the intro game and go to the main menu.

Attached a picture of where it's stuck. Green bar in upper left won't progress further than that.

Like I said, try doing it with the application closed. From personal experience my games seem to install quicker this way.

It already fully installed from the menu. But when I loaded the game. I brought me to the install game. And would not let me progress past that line. I didn't even boot the application until it was done installing from the dashboard.

I might be having problems too. I let it go until about the 6th inning and the bar did has not made it to the innings indicator yet.

I restarted the app, we'll see what happens.


EDIT: After restarting, I let Bumgarner stand there on the mound for about 10 minutes. Nothing. Then I pressed the PS button and let it sit on the home screen for 10 minutes. Nothing.

I have now restarted the console.

Update: I restarted the entire ps4. Bar started to progress.

Try not playing the game but sitting in the pause menu mine is progressing fine that way as well. I even went to the PS store while the game was still downloading and typed in all my codes for the bonuses.

I tried that. Didn't work. Anyone else getting stuck should restart the ps4. Not go into rest mode, go to power options then restart.

So is this why I'm not getting an option to exit out of the game??

Sorry, relatively newb PS owner here, never played The Show before and figured I was missing some ridiculously obvious option to quit out. Restarted my PS4 and now the progress bar is moving while MadBum just stands on the mound preparing to deliver his first pitch. 3rd time restarting the game because I couldn't advance!!
