It's 2015 in my RTTS and the Yankees have traded Tanaka and Texiera. Also, CC is relief pitching. What's up with that?

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
In mine they did a straight swap of Darvish for Tanaka. Thought that was actually kinda funny that they swapped them straight up.Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
I'm approaching Mid-June with my Pirates right now, and as I'm reaching closer to the deadline it's becoming apparent that I need to upgrade my closer position. I like Melancon, but I can't deal with his success in sim. His ERA is in the 3.40 area, and I need someone to trust if I'm simming a fair chunk of games. I was looking mainly at three closers right now. I'm looking at Huston Street, Jonathan Papelbon, and Glen Perkins to go make a deal for. I'm leaning towards Perkins despite how unlikely that would be in real life since Perkins just extended in Minny. The reason I want him though is the team is rebuilding, they've won just 18 games thus far, and through sim the poor guy has only pitched 7.1 innings himself. What would it realistically take to grab him from the Twins before the deadline. I'd prefer not to move Glasnow or Taillon because they're seriously tearing it up. In addition, I can't move Kingham either since he's shelved with a dislocated shoulder. If that can't be done, what would be the best trade for Street or Papelbon without using the aforementioned players?
Alen Hanson for Papelbon
Reese McGuire for Huston Street
I'm assuming that both the Phillies and Angels are out of it? What kind of numbers have Papelbon and Street put up?Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Playing my RttS last night, I have a 1st baseman at AAA Indy for the pirates. I get the notification that the Pirates traded Pedro Alvarez for Granderson. I assumed that I was going to be called up but it still hasnt happened after a month.
So now the Pirates have 1 guy who can play 1st, Cory Hart (Sean Rodriquez is in AAA) but 4 starting outfielders. The Pirates have one of the best outfields in baseball. There is no way they would bench Polanco to play a 34 year old Granderson.
I have 3 different RttS where I am somewhere in the Pirates organization. Every year, in the first season, they trade Pedro and get someone that doesnt help the team. A SS, 1B, CP would all make sense but it trades for old players at positions of depth.Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Just bought a PS4/The Show 15 and ready to start another Blue Jays franchise. First off I just want to make a couple moves before the season starts (pretending it's offseason/spring training). I would like to grab a RP, OF with speed and maybe a SP. I would like to get this done in 1-2 trades. I am willing to part with any current Jay's prospect (not attached to any of them), Navarro, Thole, Goins, Izturis and maybe Dickey. I would be open to adding Norris or Sanchez to a deal if I get a nice starter in return.
RP: Any capable closer. Looking to trade for one if there is anyone available. I may look to sign Soriano as well for the back end. I would also look at cheaper options if someone has an idea.
SP: I would be willing to package for an Ace/high level starter but I would be willing to take younger/cheaper options as well.
OF: I would look to add another full time starter. Was looking at Hamilton because I can get him cheap, but he was just dealt so may not be very realistic. I would take vet or young guy.
- Can someone let me know teams/players that would be good for me to look at. Then I could make lists from those teams which may be able to help me get my needs in 1-2 trades. Also, if someone has any ideas for a trade that would also be appreciated.
Thanks!Comment

Figured that. Navarro I figured could get something. Well I guess I will trade some prospects. Which teams would likely be a fit for prospects while I get back some mlb talent now. The Phillies come to mind.Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
What kind of SP could the brewers land with a package of Khris Davis, a high C prospect and either Loshe or Jimmy Nelson?
Anyway they get Hamels? Im looking to add a good lefty starter and can't think of many good options besides hamels.
If they can't get Cole could they get someone like samardjza with that?Comment

General idea right now is three B's for Hamels, so Jimmy Nelson, Davis (if B), and another B sounds good. What kind of SP could the brewers land with a package of Khris Davis, a high C prospect and either Loshe or Jimmy Nelson?

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
What would it take to get these 2 players to the Blue Jays?
- Johnny Cueto
- Carlos Gonzalez
On the smaller side. What would these 2 cost the Jay's?
- Will Venable or Leoyns Martin or Ben Revere

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Gonzalez ism't getting moved I don't think. But Cueto you are looking at least Sanchez and Norris. For one reason because if he comes available other teams have better currency to trade to the Reds. One team that comes to mind is the Sox. They need a good SP, bad... And maybe a couple other top prospects maybe the top 15 or so of the organization.Comment
