We posted a great record in may at 20-9. Overall we are 36-17 which is good for the best record in baseball closest team is the Dodgers (34-20).

The Braves are back in the World Series after beating the Dodgers 4-1 in the NLCS. In game 1 in Detroit, MVP/CY Young Julio Teheran outdueled David Price going 10 innings (yes 10, threw a flat 100 pitches) and getting the win as the Braves won in extras. Game 2, first pitch of the game Eric Young Jr drives a fastball right off of Verlanders chest, and he comes out of the game. So Braves luck out right? Wrong. Ricky Nolasco goes 7 strong giving up 2 hits and a walk only giving up one run.

We head back to Atlanta as Shelby Miller faces off against Anibal Sanchez. The Braves are looking to capture the series lead at home and win back to back World Series

My Tigers franchise is going pretty well. I've gotten to the end of August. The Tigers are 71-57 or so. I lost starting shortstop Jose Iglesias to an injury a while back, he's missed about two months. To replace him, I traded Tom Gorzelanny (RP) and a prospect to Mariners for utility man Willie Bloomquist. He's batting .280 since joining us in early July. Andrew Romine is his backup, he's batting below .200 though. I also traded for Aaron Harang from the Phillies with some low rated prospects swapped in the deal as well.

The mediocrity of the Tigers' farm system has handicapped my ability to make big trades (which is nicely challenging.) IRL, the Tigers might trade for Mike Leake, Scott Kazmir or a better option at pitcher. In my 'chise, I had to settle for Harang, who, along with Kyle Lobstein, serves as a long reliever and spot starter.

Earlier in the season, I had the best record in the AL. Now,I'm barely getting by. It's been a rough summer since Iglesias went down. The second place Royals, who I had a nine game division lead over, clawed their way back to 3 games back; they got on a hot streak while we couldn't string together wins. The second half of August has been a different story. The Royals have dropped nine straight to return their deficit to nine games back while we've been playing better.

David Price is playing very well. He's won 10+ games with a sub 2 ERA. He's battling Chris Sale for the AL Cy Young. Sale has the lead, though he has a slightly larger ERA, due to more strikeouts. Price, Cabrera, Shane Greene and Alfredo Simon all made the ASG. Greene and Simon have won more than ten games. I've somewhat followed real life injuries; Verlander was inactive until early July due to an injury while I had to make do without starting C Alex Avila for a while due to injury. James McCann has gotten hurt, he'll miss two months. Now, my backup C is the struggling Bryan Holaday.


Iglesias will return in the first week of September. Hopefully we can make a September-long surge to clinch the Division.

After a forced restart(game froze and deleted my 'chise!!) I'm a month in with my Mets...heres a brief summary and highlights...

Record:12-10, 3rd place in the N.L. East, 1 game back of the Nationals.

Able to stay above water, The Mets finished 2 games over .500 to start the season. A rough stretch in the middle of the month, which featured 4 straight extra inning games, really gassed the bullpen and didnt help matters any in getting a W.

The powerhouse of the lineup has been newly signed LF Michael Cuddyer. Cuddy leads the team and the league in Homeruns(8) and RBI's(27) as well as SLUG(.750) and OPS(1.148). Other than Cuddyer, the main contributor from the starting 9 is CF Juan Lagares. Setting the pace at the top of the order, Lagares leads the team as well as the league in AVG(.424), Hits(39), runs(18), SB(20), and OBP(.419).

The pitching staff has been solid....at least from the standpoint of the starting rotation. Jacob deGrom and Zack Wheeler share the team lead i wins, but with just 2 a piece. The top ERA belongs to 40 something Bartolo Colon who checks in at 2.60. But the bullpen has been less than fantastic due to excessive use. After converting just 2 of 6 saves chances, Bobby Parnell has been removed from the closers role and replaced with Jeryus Famila(who is just 1 for 1 since).

The month ended on a winning streak though(which included scoring 13 runs on 19 hits in Miami) and the Mets face first place Washington to start the month of May. A sweep would put them in first place. Some other highlights from the first month include:

-The MLB debuts of: Kevin Plawecki's (3-5,2b) & Noah Syndergaard(6ip,8h,4r,1k,1bb,ND)
-Walk off hits from Kirk Neuiwnhuis, Wilmer Flores and Michael Cuddyer. And come from behind victories on the road lead by Granderson and Travis d'Arnaud.
-And some power displays from Juan Lagares(2 home runs in one game), Dilson Herrera(an inside the park homerun-more speed than power), a deep grandslam from Curtis Granderson...and Cuddy and Grandy going back to back.

Well, that didn't take long. Marlins suffer an injury on the first week of 2018 by having Steve Delabar hit the DL.

Nate Jones was sent to AAA to make room for Aaron Crow...well he can come right back because he's going to fill in for Delabar.

A.J. Ramos was picked up (I think by the Diamondbacks) after refusing to sign with ANYONE during the offseason. He must have been sulking or something.

Hisashi Iwakuma made a splash by striking out 12 in just 7 1/3 innings in his first Marlins start in the team's home opener. Of those 12 strike outs, 8 of them were the caught looking variety.

Is it time to panic? Chris Davis might go a week without a home run. What's wrong with him?!

Knuckleball rookie Moses Bartlett takes the ball next to complete the team's first trip through the rotation.

The Rangers kicked off the 2016 season with second year GM Rob Frost. Frost had to make some tough decisions in the offseason after a year in which Rangers fans rejoiced with hope as the team made the playoffs. After a long offseason which pretty much kept the team intact the young GM decided to trade away a pretty fine hitter in Josh Hamilton who the year before in only 65 games hit 18 HR and batted .301. With the move the Rangers received from the Brewers RP Neal Cotts. After a meltdown in pitching in the playoffs the Rangers knew that their best prospect Dillon Tate was ready to make the jump into the big leagues, he did so with a bang facing off versus one of the most dominant pitcher in all of baseball King Felix. The Rangers offense struggled early but Tate kept the power hitting Mariners in check allowing only five hits in seven innings of work with one ER (7IP, 1ER, 6K, 5H).

Moses Bartlett's first start was decent. He got the first few innings, but then the middle innings gave him some issues.

He ended up giving up 4 runs in 7 innings of work, striking out 5 and allowing 9 hits, most of them in the 4th and 5th innings.

The Marlins rallied offensively to give the rookie his first major league win.

"His knuckler had some bite on it most of the game. Sometimes, I was in shock at the movement it would take. I don't know how they got those hits off that thing, " catcher Will Moyer commented.

In a game where pitching usually dominates, I found it kind of cool to see that in my Mets franchise, Miguel Cabrera (.363/33hr/83rbi) and Giancarlo Stanton (.339/27hr/71rbi) are in the lead for all three Triple Crown categories. Two winners this year???

Debuted my 21-year old C/1B power prospect the same game that the Jays debuted there Catching prospect (AJ Jimenez)

Both players hit solo homers in back-to-back innings... was pretty cool, especially in a tight pitching-dominate game.

My Cubs are currently 62-24 we just had an amazing games against the STL Cardinals we had Lester vs Wainwright both pitchers went 7innings only giving up 1 run a piece Cards had y hits to my Cubs 4 hits at that point in the 9th inning both teams scored 1 run in the top of the 10th the Cards scored again and it would be the Cubs last chance in the bottom of the 10th Coughlan was up first batting 7th he singled i subbed Soler inbfor the pitcher he struck out batting 9th was matt Sczur i subbed him for Dexter Fowler who singled so i had a man on 1st n 2nd with 1 out.
Lead off hitter addison russel came to the plate n got a dinger infield single that just barely made contact with his bat but rolled too far in front of Catcher molina who couldnt get it to first base in time so i had bases loaded bottom of the 10th with our 2nd batter on deck LF Corey Dickerson who was 0-3 with 1 strikeout on the day but led the league in HRs n RBIs he comes to the plate goes down 0-2 than brings it back up 2-2 and i noticed the pitcher was throwing low inside to me so i highlighted the bottom inside and right out the pitchers hand it flashed red and i saw the curveball coming and BOOM BABY BOOM WALK OFF GRAND SLAM to win the game 6-3 i love baseball

Ok so i have a franchise going on with my hometown favorite team the Chicago Cubs with this franchise i am aiming to be realistic but not all the way here are the trades i made

Cubs get :LF Corey Dickerson solves the LF of the future problem

Rockies get: at this point n time of the season Rockies were #1 in their division but on a losing streak due to ineffective SP but their hitters were all on a roll.. SP Jason Hammel who was at the time leading the league in ERA and immediately stepped in as their Ace... SP Travis wood who at the time was playing like the former all star he was and possible Cy young candidate . Also they got SP CJ Edwards who could be a future 3 in the rotation. Not too mention the crowded OF they have with blackmon Dahl Gonzalez and Dickerson some1 had to go .

We have hit a slump. We have lost 5 of our last 7. Our hitting which was 2nd in the majors has dropped to 6th best in the majors as we just can't buy a hit right now. We are only 1 1/2 back of the Pirates in mid-May.

My Blue Jays franchise, ive pretty much been hovering around the .500 mark just like the real jays are doing. im also first in several of the hitting categories but near the very bottom in pitching.

looking at team stats of the real MLB, ive been on pace with the real blue jays in both batting and pitching.

Just completed the draft, here were my picks:

P1:10 3B Rick Tillman 46/96. Nothing that really blows me away about his game other than his 96 potential, he looks to be more of a trade asset than anything

P2:10 LF Eddy Cabral 60/88. This dude has great power and speed, he figures to be more of a Ryan Braun type player

P3:10 SS Kenny Riedling 64/77. He comes in with good contact and great control, he has 77 Vision 77 discipline and 69 clutch hitting

P4:10 SP Sean James 55/76. He's a pitcher that really fits the twins mold, he comes out of college with already 99 velocity, he also has a bat as he was also a RF in college

P5:10 LF Francisco Carrara 62/71. He figures to be more of a utility outfielder as he has good speed and good contact VS right handed pitchers. I see him as more of a pinch runner as of right now

P6:10 1B Steve Knott 59/68. He is another future bench player as he has great contact and 88 clutch batting however his poor defense and lack of power are gonna hold him back

P7:10 CF Chris Salazar 50/64. At this point I don't see him ever being in the majors but I do believe he will be a nice minor league player. His best asset is his speed, 74, and base stealing, 73.

I wasn't able to address my bullpen as much as I'd like to have but every pitcher I was targeting was taken 1 or 2 picks before me
