Re: Pulse vs analog vs meter vs classic?
Use multiple..
Pulse for franchise and meter for my RTTS Pitcher.
Will more than likely use only classic once I start franchise.
Voted pulse as that's what I'm practicing with to finalize slidersJoshua:

Re: Pulse vs analog vs meter vs classic?
Always use classic since I found out it takes the ratings into effect. I have been using for years now and it is the most realistic, when the pitchers is on it's incredible and sometimes he don't have is best stuff and gets ripped it feels more authentic to me...."Baseball is Life"

Re: Pulse vs analog vs meter vs classic?
That classic takes the ratings into affect doesn't mean ratings don't mean anything using the other methods.
I used to play with classic liked it my only problem was I didn't really feel like I was playing, like I had no input.
Made the switch to meter and really like it.
I think meter takes ratings and user input into account, kind off a mixture of both worlds. Still have to some more training though.
Still pretty new to mlb the showComment

I'm a traditional man, i use the meter. Make me feel like like I'm playing the old school games!<iframe src="//giphy.com/embed/krWo40d7QPUFG" width="480" height="288" frameBorder="0" class="giphy-embed" allowFullScreen></iframe><p><a href="http://giphy.com/gifs/football-snl-krWo40d7QPUFG">via GIPHY</a></p>Comment

Analog pitching for me. I don't like the meter and I hate pulse.Comment

Re: Pulse vs analog vs meter vs classic?
So do you want to have a version of the game to have classic hitting where you press a button just as the pitcher throws the ball and base on hitter ratings the outcome will occur positive or negative?
I never got this. I want to play the game and if pitching is just to hit a button and the rating of a player will determine the posibility of the outcome why pick up the controller?
If that is such a sim thing then why not the same for hitting and just not field and let the cpu field.Comment

Re: Pulse vs analog vs meter vs classic?
I have used pulse/fade since they introduced it a couple of years ago. Feels like I'm in control and allows a wide range of outcomes (especially on higher difficulty), which, to me is realistic. Only downside is that it can give you a headache after 2-3 games. Maybe I'll reconsider meter this year.Comment
