Now you're being ridiculous. At the time, Maybin was a 20 year old prospect that already made it to the big leagues. The Marlins also got Andrew Miller, Detroit's top pick the year before. Souza is already 26, and it's do or die time for his career. I don't think it needs to be said that Florida was dealing Cabrera because it was time to pay him. Appropriately, he went to a higher market. Why would Tampa Bay wish to acquire Stanton in their current situation?

Ha, I'm just saying that we don't always see the big picture.
I'm actually excited that NBA 2k16 will literally show us now each team's line of thinking.@MikeLowe47 | YouTube | Discord

Re: CPU Trade Logic
I hear ya. I'm looking forward to checking that out too. I guess you could say the Show kind of tries by labeling teams as Rebuilding/Normal/Playoff Push, but then random things just happen anyway.Prototype Supreme

Re: CPU Trade Logic
i honestly just dont look at trades that happen so i dont do the whole "WTF!?!?!?!"....I cant do 30 team control tho cuz i would literally never trade for the CPU....feel like thats more unfair then letting the CPU trade for itself. Even if it is lopsidedComment

Re: CPU Trade Logic
I also think I'm just looking at every team through my own eyes - which means all of them will be basically using the same logic (mine), which we know is not true in real life (all teams don't use the same valuations, logic, strategies, etc) - so I don't think it's "realistic".
Plus, I'm not going to pretend I know now who in 2018 "would" or "would not" be traded and for what."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Re: CPU Trade Logic
I played through the trade deadline, and the CPU teams didn't make any trades. And as soon as we hit August, all the teams who should have been active placed players on trade waivers.
Pretty sure it's because I play with injuries off, but I know in past years CPU teams traded with each other.Comment

Re: CPU Trade Logic
I impose strict restriction on myself but I let the CPU teams do whatever they want and I don't see many if any stupid trades happening. In fact I see more "unrealistic" trades IRL than in the Show.
The Rockies traded Tulowitzki for who? The Braves traded Kimbrel for who?≡Comment

Re: CPU Trade Logic
Saw the Marlins in the offseason of 2015 trade Giancarlo Stanton to the Pirates straight up for Robbie Grossman (C Pot, 69 overall). Probably, no definitely, the worst trade I have ever seen in the Show. And it was supposed to be better this year.Comment
